Do the Fluance Ai61 Sound as Good as They Look?

i got back into hifi after a break, found some powered speakers for cheap and was very surprised how good they sounded, but hiss noise is an issue.

If you want to swap the left and right speaker, I believe you can just plug an RCA cord in backwards, no? Intentionally mix up the red and white inputs I mean

I have not tried other Fluance products, but for the money I don't think there is a better pair of powered speakers at that price point and I don't feel like I am missing anything and I have no urge to upgrade, which is rare for me. I usually look to upgrade every time I get a chance. The Bass is very good and the highs are not fatiguing, but a nice sweet sound. I use them outside on my patio and in my sitting room where I don't have room for a system. Again, I don't feel like I am missing anything. Honestly I get the space comment about your desk and that could be an issue, but you need a decent size driver to give any real bass presence unless you plan to use a small sub somewhere in your room, which by the way they have a sub out which is also nice.

I am running the AI61’s for the price they are a good option, I am running them in a small room, my home office. The bass was a little light for me, so I also picked up the DB10 sub woofer which rounded out the sound, for my taste. I have a turntable Hooked up through the RCA plugs, a blue ray player, through the optical, for my CD listen pleasure. And so I can stream I run my iPad through the USB-C. I really don’t use the blue tooth option very often. I am happy with this speakers for the price they are great.

Dude fuck KZbin. I searched for weeks for a video on the 61s and never came across one in the search function. I only happened to come across this as a suggestion for an ai41 review. Wonderful video and thank you for confirming my assumptions about this set of speakers!

Imagine being so out of touch with the world that $300+ speakers are "speakers to save money"... For most, this is absurd amount of money for speakers, considering you can get $30 for logitecs at best buy...

Clearly you haven't had friends with actual sound systems or you'd understand why that statement is true. True to life speakers are always $1,000+ and some people want that fidelity and some people that buy $300-600 get a slight taste of that transparency. Logitech is bottom bin. While it barely sounds better than sound bars, You could've atleast said "Edifier" or "Klipsch" which has budget speakers and earbuds for those prices
