I have these speakers. Love them. Also the older smaller AI40. Bit overkill for computer speakers. Excellent for a living room TV setup. Incredible quality sound with good bass and fantastic remote.

I have the tower version on my list as a soundbar substitute. Any of these powered bookshelf speakers from reputable speaker companies should be much better audio quality than the equivalent Sony etc soundbar with their muddy 2 inch 1-way drivers. Also saves from using up a precious HDMI port on your TV. I was considering bookshelf speakers, but factoring the cost of good stands has put cheap towers on my radar. I don't listen above 85dB in my tiny apartment, so shouldn't get too much resonances at such a low sound level.
