Going into today, I was thinking absolutely not. However, I saw a Commanders live stream from earlier and they were hating on Jake Haener, ragging on him badly, basically laughing this game off as no big deal, as if they had already won it. If Washington comes in the same as their fans mentality then they will be in for a rude awakening. I saw a Haener interview from earlier and I'm liking how he is carrying himself, to me, judging by his demeanor, he looks like he has been preparing for this moment for quite a while now and is ready to surprise the world and the naysayers. I believe we are being too dismissive of Jake, making assumptions before he has even thrown a pass. If this was a Dennis Allen team and a backup QB situation, I would say no. We lost something like 4 or 5 in a row with the backup QB in under Allen. Maybe with Rizzi captain of the ship, we can weather the storm until calmer waters are in place but yeah for some strange reason I'm feeling in the way of more towards optimism than doom and gloom.

As a fan from Fresno and saw Haener's talemts here set him free rather.than.controlled him and Saints will get the upset. For Defense, stop playing our LB in passing coverages rather have them spy on Daniels, blitz throughout the game. Saints performed worst with running QBs due to our LBs and the Badger being too slow.

I agree that Washington's defense was garbage early in the year. They're playing much better now, ever since they swapped St. Juste and Sainristil. Now that Lattimore is healthy, they should be able to play man and stack the box much more often.
