One of my very favorite MP videos. I set 3 intentions for myself in 2023: restore my twice-crashed website, earn my grant writing certification, and finish editing my book manuscript in preparation to be self published. I accomplished the first two by mid June, and now it's on to polishing my book for publication. I especially enjoy MP' s attention to writing and public speaking. AMEN!

I'd love to share something I heard from Mel Robinson's and that is of the 5 second rule if you tell yourself you should get out of bed, you know you should have something healthy to eat instead of a KitKat bar - so you know what you should do before you talk yourself out of it and by doing 54321 up - go! You're interrupting your brain pattern before it gives you chance not to talk yourself out of it. 54321 get up! 54321 go for a run!

I just LOVE your videos, Marisa!! They have made realize sooo many false beliefs that I was brought up with and took as "reality". At one point of your video you reminded me of my older sister, who - many, many years ago - met this very lovely man, who was wealthy, attractive and treated her so kindly and even his family welcomed her with open arms... She broke up with him. We were devasted. When asked why she broke up with him she replied: he treated me so nicely, he was such a good man, his family was so loving... I just could not cope with that. This made me feel sooo sad and it reminded me of how deep those wounds and beliefs can run sometimes. Keep up your great work!! This world needs you!!! Thank you from the bottom of my heart, Marisa

I know EXACTLY what you are saying! Some people will say to me are you looking forward to getting up and going to work tomorrow? And I'll be completely honest with them and I'll say "No, but when I get to work I'll enjoy it." Sometimes it's just the thought of doing it that puts me off but if it's something I have to do I'll do it and whilst I'm doing it I'll enjoy it. It's the same with ironing like "oh, god, I've a big pile, do I have to?" That's my first thought and at times I'm sat around the house with ironing I know I need to do but don't want to do but when I say to myself "oh go on, I'll start. I'll do a few shirts - the important bits..." Next thing I know I'm completing all of it and then looking around the house for something else to do. I read something a long time ago and I feel it's true, a body in action stays in action. A body which stays at rest remains at rest and usually because of that you don't want to get up and do something

Thank you Dear Marisa Peer! I have been doing this for each goal I have, and it's working out so awesome! I truly believe when we get clear like this--in these 7 steps... I love the (Who, how, why, will benefit from that goal?)---it helps us to understand ourselves better and why we even want it. But I see that by using ALL 7 steps is getting me there--in the right timing. And I'm finding that -that last one (along with the others) also can have us finding out just how worthy & deserving we need to FEEL--before manifesting anything! :-) I believe wholeheartedly in Hypnotherapy, and have gone to a few over the years. You're work is amazing and I do promote you on KZbin, in my past physical business where I also had a hypnotherapist involved in the business, and I have always promoted you on line--a website, blog, and in my many past social media platforms! Thanks so much, sending you all my love ~ 🤗💞

I like it. I want it. I have chosen it. There is no problem with the two sentences except the middle one. Want=Lack Would it be better if we put "deserve" instead of "Want"?
@RajuDas-qu1li3 жыл бұрын
@@carolineackroyd9027 I think you know little about motivation. If you are dialoguing with your mind, how can you think of usuing the word "want"? Your subconscious mind is very powerful. And want is a daily word, we use it daily to relate what we lack badly. Therefore when in the realm of mind and motivation or manifestation, I would like to prefer "desire" or " deserve".
@RajuDas-qu1li3 жыл бұрын
@@carolineackroyd9027 in INDIA people always use the word "want" therefore despite their beautiful spritual and cultural heritage they lack everything even humanity!
@soullove82803 жыл бұрын
@@RajuDas-qu1li I completely agree. I have heard about this a lot from other LOA/hypnotherapists teachers, books, videos. I challenged it at first and then just decided to see how I feel when I say "I want this...." and for me personally I realized it brought up a tugging feeling in my chest....like a longing even begging (like in a state of prayer - please give me what I want - kind of thing). My felt sense was more on not having what I was stating I wanted....I prefer to say "I am" or "I have" and get into the feeling state of those words. For me its about how it feels when you say it....sometimes if I say an affirmation and it doesn't sit well, it feels too unbelievable at that moment for whatever reason, I tone it down. For example if saying "I am loving myself deeply and completely" doesn't feel truthful, I will change it to "I am learning to love myself more every day".....in contrast for me to say "I want to love myself"....for me feels like a road block, I feel only lack from that or absolutely nothing at all. Maybe its personal, if you can say "I want" and feel within you the energy of what you want coming to you, then great. It definitely doesn't work for me.
@soullove82803 жыл бұрын
@@carolineackroyd9027 wow all I heard was a person stating their opinion on what works best for him/her. He never said anything about Marisa "not knowing anything" about anything. Without even knowing her other than through her channel I feel like Marisa herself would be open to his/her comments....there is always room for improvement regardless of your fame, title, status, youtube likes, followers....

@@soullove8280 Hi there. This is an old conversation. But if you read my reply, I was offering an explanation as to why she uses those words as I´m her student. I was trying to be helpful in explaining through a Rule of the Mind, which she developed. The intention was a good and pure one. It wasn't taken like that however. Perhaps I was seen as trying to undermine his knowledge by sharing, that wasn´t my intention at all. His reply though was offensive by making a swift evaluation of me, "I think you know little about motivation". He doesn´t even know me! Then it all went downhill from there as these comments often do. Sad for all involved.
