The reason is because in Mexico recently they have put laws in which companies now have to put those labels on everything that’s considered unhealthy. They have also eliminated food mascots because they say that they encourage children to eat un healthy foods. Obesity rates are bad in Mexico so the government is trying to combat that.

The thing with the drinks is that with corn syrup you have to use more carbonation to fight the syrup vs cane sugar so cane sugar sodas taste smoother. (I work at a soda shop lol)

You need to do an episode with sour patch kids, or just candy in general, I've noticed a huge difference in taste and texture especially with sour patch kids, the ones made in Canada are way better in my opinion than the ones made in Mexico and I always check for the ones made in Canada when I buy them.
