My dad never made over $100K in his whole life. But he is a great father, a generous provider, and one of the smartest people I know. I couldn't have asked for a better dad. The fact that men like him are completely overlooked by most women today is truly sad.

Kudos! I was very lucky as well. My dad was a steelworker. He could have gone to college, but he didn't want to. He was EXTREMELY well read- he got me and my brother into reading because we wanted to be like him. Man, could could he dress! He got me into jazz and big band music- one reason I started playing guitar. He was the perfect role model-gentleman, classy, charming, treated my mom great, tough when he had to be but always full of love. I sincerely wish everyone could have a dad like mine. I was very blessed.

@@butcho7492 My Dad was also a steelworker (back in the 1970's) and his income allowed us to live comfortably. It also helped that our 15 acre farm and home was already paid off when I was still a toddler. His income would probably be equivalent to 50 or 60 K in today's money. Because our land and home were paid off, and we produced at least 50% of our own food on the farm, my Dad had lots of disposable income. Not bad for a guy with only an 8th grade education. My Dad wasn't much for reading, unlike your Dad. The only reading he really did was hunting or fishing magazines. I developed a love for reading on my own. He loved listening to Waylon Jennings and The Ventures, and played the guitar fairly well. I can't say that my Dad was classy or charming as he was too much of a "country boy" and had lots of backwoods ways, but nobody is perfect. I think I was pretty lucky to have him for a Dad, even with his imperfections. Who else would have taught me to fish and milk a cow, after all ?

Their salary expectations are completely ridiculous. Expecting a guy in his mid-20's to make over $100k is outrageous. Expecting your man to make $400k by the time you start a family is downright insane. And it's funny because when they were first asked, they claim that salary isn't important. But when pushed to give a number they start giving mostly unattainable wages. Where are they getting these numbers from?!

When my wife met me nine years ago, she was 21 and I was 26. I was making $25,000 a year, drowning in debt, driving a shit-box, and struggling to cover rent. None of that mattered to her. She didn't care about designer bags or a lavish lifestyle, she knew she had found a good man and continued to encourage me every step of the way. It took five years of struggling before our financial situation started to improve. Fast forward to today, she has a husband that owns his own company and makes $300-400K per year. You still have to find time to have hobbies that are not "boring" to them, develop your own "style", have good education and be knowledgable enough to entertain them with "philosophical talks about the universe", etc, etc. And even if you have all of that, if you don't have good looks and matters, according to them, you can't have the privilege of dating such extraordinary women. Right on the nose. I don't think they want to put the work in to get there. I'm married and earn almost double what my wife makes; 85k vs 140k after bonuses. However, when we first started dating, guess what? I was a loser!! Yes, I'll admit it, with that language! I made $30k with 0 ambition. Then she came along and gassed me up, put wind in my sails and gave me a reason to want to do better! Did she do the work for me? No, I put in the long hours of study and the anxiety of exams and job hopping. But I still attribute it all to her! Without her support and dedication I wouldn't have done this. She saw the potential I had, cultivated it and took care of me; like a gardener with a precious flower. She still takes care of me to this day in every way a wife should and I want to do even better by her! It takes SKILL and talent for a woman to be able to pull this off. My wife is a genius. Too bad for these young ladies! I hope they can figure out though!

If it were only that easy in reality. What exactly are they bringing to the table? Thank you Courtney for reminding all of us men yet again to focus on ourselves, and avoid this circus of unrealistic expectations placed on men in our society. These "ladies" you interviewed are exactly why the divorce rates are skyrocketing, and then they ask "Why can't I find a good man?", when the relationship doesn't go exactly as their sky-high fantasy was planned. To me, every single one of these girls in this video are beautiful and seem very high quality in my opinion UNTIL they got asked the money questions. I’m glad, Courtney, you asked them that cuz I think their true colors came out. To me, every single one of them went from being a 9-10, to just about 1 or 2 in my book based on how they responded to the money questions. They all want a guy who makes AT LEAST 100k, yet in their previous breaths, said money didn’t matter as long as they can pay their bills. Every one of these girls wants the top 2% of men out there. And that’s fine for their sake, I just hope they’re willing to be real with themselves on the real world out there. If I made 100k+, I STILL would NOT a single one of them based on HOW they answered that question alone. I would rather be single than be with someone who thought my income was “acceptable.” Give me a break. All that means is that they’ll leave me the second they meet a guy who makes more. They can’t have it both ways, either money doesn’t matter as long as they’re stable, or you want 100k+. Saying both is hypocritical.

It's a worn-out cliche by now, but it bares repeating: Attraction isn't a choice. What women SAY they want (logical mind), and what they're ATTRACTED to (gut-level emotion) are very often two different things. That's why you often hear women say "I keep dating jerks. Where are all the good men?" (They're literally everywhere), and "I just don't know what it IS about him!" They very often DON'T know... because the intense feelings they feel toward him are just that: feelings. They're not located in their rational mind.

Underrated comment. There are plenty of good men out there but they’re all stuck in the friend zone. Women would rather sacrifice getting treated like shit in exchange for being someone who has money, power, status and good looks, at least until they reach a certain age and their looks start fading. Then they settle down with an average dude who they wouldn’t have been caught dead with 5-10 years ago.

I dated my grammar school/highschool sweetheart in my 20s and it was rough. We were both broke college students still living with our parents. She claims she came from a family where the men paid for everything with no question and if they couldn't, you kind of got shit for it. We ended up doing a long distance relationship where she moved to Cali and I stayed in Illinois. I remember paying for tickets to go see her then once I arrived, I was expected to pay for everything. She stayed in a closet-like apartment with no kitchen so when we ordered food, I got it. We went to an event to hang out, I got that too. Gotta take a bus to get to places, she had a student pass, I have to pay for that as well. I remember her even asking to pay her cellphone because she was going through rough times so I helped her out. Like I said, long time sweethearts but both broke college students...but I loved her and my own pride always got the best of me. Telling her no or that I didn't have the money always made me feel like less of a man. She comes back home, we both have cars but I'm expected to always pick her up. Does she offer gas money, no. We go out to eat, does she offer to get the bill? Very (and I mean VERY) rarely. We didn't live together because neither of us could afford to rent at the time. Her family was constantly asking me when I'm going to marry her and I'd always say, "I refuse to marry this girl and bring her back to her mom's house." I'm not sure how the hell I was able to even do a lot of the things I did in my 20s but I can tell you that anyone going through college and just working a job just to put money in their pocket isn't going to be making 100k any time soon. I'm 34 now and I'm just barely making 60k and I have no shame in that. I've worked hard and I'm still working towards bettering myself. We ended up breaking up when I was 28 due to "differences" in life paths. And that's when my career started gaining traction. Funny thing is right around that time she decided to move to Japan to teach english because she was having trouble finding work in her field. She tried to get me to as well and get a "Husband Visa" which also required us to be married but I'd be soley dependant on her while we were there. I told her no and that's when she decided to call it quits which I was fine with. I haven't spoken to her in years and I don't regret our experiences. In fact a lot of them shaped me and have helped me realize what I'd like in a partner. Maybe it's the same for her. But if any guys out there do read this and you're in a similar position or dating, don't let anyone make you feel like you're not shit for being in a position that these woman are looking for. It's extremely unrealistic. As long as you're working on yourself and trying to become the best that you can be, that's commendable. It won't come overnight but you'll get there.

This. This right here is what it's all about. That's awesome man. I went through the same type of journey of putting up with a lot of shit from my first girlfriend because I didn't want to be single or thought less of a man if I didn't comply. Once you break free from the spell, and realize that loving yourself is far more important than being in a relationship just to not be alone, you are truly free. Then you start building your life up, like you did when got traction in your career, and you start reaping the benefits. To the point where dating becomes simpler for you, sure it's harder to find a quality woman once you regain self-worth, and it also makes it much easier at the same time because you know what you want for yourself and in a partner.

I like Courtney I do & as jumping off point for young guys just getting into dating she's very accessible but let's be honest she never deals with the issues head on or in any meaningful detail so she'll never do something so in depth. Remember a couple years ago when she reacted to Alexander Grace's video about his female friend that posed as him on tinder & was shocked at what men go through. She said herself she was going to do a similar experiment to make a video & as far as I know she still hasn't done it. She likes to stay accessible at the surface. Also creators that get into it more are often ratioed & suppressed which effects monetization. Can't blame her for that tbh but it also shows her weakness in manosphere which she openly admits to being a part of. She likes being an access point which is fine, I think she's a much better access point than say someone like "alpha male" 🤮 pickup artist conmen.

@@ameliepoulain4654 this is exactly what I mean. Implicit in your statement is your belief that a woman’s life, safety, health etc is more valuable than a man’s simply because she is a woman. Connected to that is the implied accusation that my masculinity or attraction to women is not valid unless I agree with that assessment. That doesn’t work for me, and I wouldn’t choose to be with anyone who would demand otherwise. My willingness to sacrifice is contingent upon the trust, reciprocity, and voluntary approach built into the relationship over time.

To Courtney - great video! I find it fascinating that most people interviewed expect someone (in their 20s) to make near 80-100k and that it was (imo) heavily implied that this is only okay for now and that there is an expectation of a lot more growth down the line. There are countless people who don't reach 80k in their entire lives and still live a nice life. I know this interview was centered around what these women expect from a man but it would be interesting to know what these women expect to be doing for a living.

You want a six pack guy ? You have to understand he'll spend a lot of time to the gym or training. You wanted a very smart chess GM player. You have to understand chess is his 1st wife and you the 2nd. And you have to learn chess, to spend time with him. If you want a very passionate guy or woman, you have to be passionate too. Being on Instagram or tiktok all day is not an asset.

I dated a girl who worked for 3 years of her whole life at a job. As an entitled house wife that was her entire working career. So, whenever I had a bad day at work she would say how easy my job was and if she were doing it that she'd be so loved and appreciated that she would get raises and promotions. Welp... the day came where for whatever reason she "tried" to work. Lasted a whole 3 days. It was a cushy indoor white collar small accounting business too. I came to pick her up after her 2nd day and she was instantly saying how bitchy all of her coworkers were. She was annoyed to be told what to do. 3 days later I picked her up and she said..."hey you know what I discovered about myself? I don't want to work. It's not for me." LMAO!!! I'm like...nobody wants to work. For most it's not a choice. It's called being an adult with financial responsibilities. Absolutely no respect or appreciation. All she saw was the paycheck. Not what you have to do for it. The getting out of bed every morning when you least feel like it. Having to bend the knee to a superior and following rules you don't agree with. The fact that someone is going to pay you... IDK 20 bucks an hour (which is 40K a year) that means that you better be producing 100 bucks an hour for your employer. You have to earn your salt. You don't just get 100K for showing up in a suit and sitting at a desk. Of course from a woman's perspective they literally get paid 6 figures for just sitting there and looking pretty on O.F. what'd you expect from females these days? Absolutely warped state of minds. Honey, until you've ever made 100K yourself (excluding major city living and sex work) then you have no right to expect that from your dating pool of men. As well, a women in thier 20's are at the top of their financial game since most get paid based on their looks. This is peak opprotunity season for women. Guys don't peak until our 40's. Yeah... as usual we have to put more into something because life doesn't just give us what we need just by sitting on a barstool looking pretty.

coming from a woman, the red pill theory is bullshit. it feels like all of these women were either sampled to fit this video (aka golddiggers) or they still live with their parents and have no idea about wages and costs of living. i literally don´t know a single woman that says she only dates guys making 100k

"Enough to live a life of leisure..." They want a man who's retired, a young man in his 20's who's retired and a millionaire. They don't even listen to what they're saying or really think about what comes out of their mouth before it leaves their lips.

Where do these women live that they think someone in their mid-20s or early-30s can easily make $100K or more a year? Because I want to move there since they're apparently handing out thousands of dollars like it's nothing. My and my girlfriend's salaries are both well above the median income where we live and we're still nowhere near $100,000 a year. I am so confused by those figures.

They really expect a guy to make 80-100 thousand a year before he's 30? They really must be out of their minds. I'm not saying guys don't sometimes have unrealistic expectations, but wow some of these answers are really out there

Because of the way society is, now that women have all these rights and are making more money they expect even more from men. It used to be that women didn't work or worked lower paying jobs and also middle class guys could buy more and own a home. Btw I'm not saying women having rights is a bad thing I'm just saying as women's money increases so to does their expectations from men.

They just need to hang out next to their local correctional facility. The guys who are into selling drugs? Yea, they're making 80-100k, consistently. Everyone else? Not so much. I used to work in a job which required me to know people's actual salary data. Almost NOBODY was making more than 200k, and those were the very rare C-level people, or top salesmen. Even if they made more, then they were probably smart enough to get their wealth in stock options. These women simply have no clue.

All of them want guys making 6 figures in their mid 20s. That's sobering. The one wanting 400k and up is absolutely out of her mind as well, she is going to end up rapidly adjust her expectations over time or be lonely forever.

Good women are out there believe me. But just how men like to whine about not being chosen to play by a girl, often men overlook the good women or even let them slip through their hands. I feel that ALL people need to get their priorities straight and focus on what type of world they would like to build and what type of partner will compliment your aspirations
