When you file the I-134 to marry her, you are signing your life away, it’s an affidavit of support for and her kids. You are on the hook with her for 10 years mandatory. That would scare me more than anything. Be her boyfriend, even send her money voluntarily but don’t sign those papers. Stay single and travel, you will be happier and healthier.

@@Czechineffect I am with you 100% it's just things have changed especially if she decides to change her mind and divorce you, if she does not get married again you will be on the hook for her and each of her children for 10 years, all the chicas know about the change in the law. 80% of all divorces are started by women. I met a Dominican woman from Santo Domingo severel month ago and put her to the test...test #1, asked her, if we get married where would you want to live, in your country or the U S, she said that it did not matter as long as we were together, test # 2, I sent her some money, without her even asking for it, she got upset with me and said why would you send me money i never ask it, and I'm not a charity case, and please don't insult me like that ever again. I was like ok, bingo! she past with Flying colours.

I can’t speak for your women because I don’t know her. The process for residence take 2-6 years ..but to take half of what a person has w/o sign a pre is only 2 years

Yes you have to be very careful. Because a lot of them just want you to take care of them and they have debt. Money that they owe to people and other family members. Some have a lot of kids too. My wife has only one and has her own house and car and has, an accounting degree.

That is a good move but before you even think about marrying that Dominican girl, you better vet her to the fullest, you better make sure she is loyal and is not play you, taking your time and make sure she is true, she not sleeping with other gringos or have a Dominican boyfriend and you, I sent 5 to 7 friends at my girl, making offers to her off that the average girl could not refuse, if she fights all that heat off her and stays loyal to you, then that is the girl for., she is a unicorn and a keeper,,scoop her up fast
