You should add a tip that worked for me: When they call a meeting with you vented, just say "blue", "white", the meeting caller's color, vented. Then say "then they called an emergency meeting to accuse me", and it will work. Trust me

Among Us Impostor Tips: When caught venting: do an emergency sabatoge so no one can call meetings, and give you time for your kill cool down to go back up and kill the witness, or lock cafe doors or whatever room they are in. if they are already sus,and there is only three people (involving you ofc, only if you are the last/only Impostor) then accuse them of venting/killing before they ever could. They will get ejected and you win. If there is only 3 left, including you as a solo imp, simply say you have scan, go into Medbay and close doors, do cafe next, then call a sabo the other direction and get your last kill. Do it quick, this only works with visuals on, and make sure no dead bodies are near..) Misdirection: To get crewmates away from the body, call a sabatoge in the opposite direction, so it takes longer and your less likely to be caught cause you won't be near the area. Fake tasking: If visuals tasks are on, there are specific tasks to avoid! Visual tasks: Weapons: Clear Astrioids (you can see the shooting animation) MedBay: Scan (You can see the device scanning the innocent.) Shields: Prime Shields (The light in the bottom corner turns on, it stays on so it's safe if a crewmate has already completed that specific task.) Storage: Take Out Garbage (You can see the garbage flowing out into outer space) ~ If any task leads up to these, avoid them as if you don't connect the second part, others will really suspect you, especially if that second part happens to be a visual task. (I.E, Cafeteria: Take Out Garbage) Also, make sure you do certain multi part tasks in the correct order, or finish them. (Like be sure to 'finish your' inspect sample in MedBay.) There are multiple common tasks such as fix wiring in elec, or admin swipe card. Common task means either no one has it, or everyone does. If there is only one, do that one first. Downloads or uploads usually only take up to 8 seconds, do your downloads before uploads. A upload is in admin or elec, a download can be anywhere else. I also suggest counting the number of tasks there are based by your fake task list, so you don't do to little or to much.) Escaping your crime before a witness: Fake a task above a vent, so if someone else goes to do the 'same' task as 'you' then you can kill and make a escape alot quicker with a local vent. If I'm wrong about any of these, please correct me!

As imp the tasks you should fake or wiring and long tasks such as reactor start up that way it poses minimal risk. Download can be good as long as you only do the first part of it, aka not at admin. Make sure you wait exactly 10 seconds too because that's the time it takes. Afterwards you might want to try and sabotage so you have an excuse for not going to second immediately. If you find yourself faking a task you shouldn't you should sabotage comms to get out of it. You should probably wait a few seconds after the sabotage starts though so it doesn't seem related.

Hey guys, I have a tactic that works like a charm! But it only works for the first round, after that people get skeptical. Pretend to be a noob, then if someone suspects you, instead of killing them or getting them voted out directly, you should do this. First, kill someone who is NOT the skeptical person, then wait for someone to report the body. (Make sure the room you killed in has a vent and the skeptical is in or near a room with a vent.) Once the body is reported and someone is turning stuff against you, defend yourself WITHOUT incriminating them. Then, once the round is over, wait a bit and try not to do any visual tasks. But then, disturb the peace by calling an emergency meeting, then say “Hey, sorry to interrupt everybody, but how do I vent like (Skeptic’s name)? Are they hacking or something..?” And watch it unfold. Make sure NOT to be incriminating them, otherwise it’ll be an obvious and incriminating counter-attack. Also, act confused when people turn on them until someone tells you only imposters can vent. This is only when you have three or four people left, it doesn’t take too long to put two and two together and realize that you’re the imposter.
