I think all parents should take a parent class and that your videos should be part of the curriculum 💜

I agree for kids to know how to name emotions especially for situation awareness. I’m cautious of magnifying negative motions though. Not sure if highlighting or prioritizing emotions will be more beneficial or correlate EQ vs modeling and teaching them how to handle situations. I haven’t seen much example of it and more of a buyer remorse. I have seen truth, hardship, and love produced some extremely high EQ individuals.

I totally understand your concern about magnifying negative emotions - and that alone is not helpful. The goal isn't to magnify them, but rather to acknowledge them as natural while building practical coping skills in order to help young children understand what they're feeling (which is hard for them at this age). When we teach emotional awareness alongside problem-solving strategies, we're actually equipping children to handle difficult situations more effectively. You make an excellent observation about how truth, hardship, and love shape emotional intelligence. In fact, these real-life experiences can be powerful teaching moments when we help children process them constructively. The key is integrating emotional awareness with practical skills - not just naming feelings, but learning to navigate them productively. Thank you so much for taking the time to comment and watch! 🩷
