Great routine. I love that it's something I can actually follow along with as opposed to a list of exercises I have to write down and remember.

Thanks Ryan! My hams are the last of the stubborn muscles that won’t release after my hip surgery. Thanks to your programs I’ve gradually got the deep swat and some of the primal movements are starting to be natural. This is a fantastic tutorial.

They take a long time, at least partly because the modern lifestyle encourages that tightness. You can undo all that in a few minutes, but keep going, and it can improve :)

Greetings from Albuquerque, NM I am going to use this routine at least once a day in hopes that it helps my flexibility through my hips and down. I have lousy knee pain and have been doing research on how it is related to stiffness in the hips and ankles. Thank you for putting this out, all the best

Just be consistent and gradual. A lot of knee pain does come from hip and ankle stiffness, and you'll see we have a bunch of resources for each of those on our channel as well as some good movements for building resilience in your knee joints.

I was recommended many of these animal like movements close to the floor since I have fibromyalgia and my body is highly adverse to plyometrics, and so far so good!

Plyometrics are really for people who are already very strong.

I love walking and go for long walks nearly every day. I say try not to go too fast and focus on mid-foot landing, chest up and head in line, looking foward I throw a weighted backpack on twice a week for fun too. That can also help with posture.

You can totally make this easier yourself. Just go into each motion carefully and to the extent that is comfortable for you!

All of these have regressions! In the elements course there usually show someone doing the movements that isn't as flexible as Ryan which is helpful. The short version is to not go so deep into all the movements or use elevation for your hands. Also you can bring your heels up in the squat, that takes a long time to build up to. I've been working on it for months and I'm still not there!

Start with the Bear... You can look up an example here with regressions. I've been working on just one movement, the Bear, for a few months now. I have fibromyalgia and I have to go SLOW. I got half way through this one! Woo hoo! I'm hoping to be in shape enough for Elements this fall.
