I think the tight vs loose clothes just depends on your style and the vibe you’re going for. I hate an all baggy fit cause I feel so bummy or too casual in it. But other people pull it off so well:)

Hard agree. I feel so uncomfortable when my clothes aren't tight, I feel like I'm taking up too much room and can't move.
@strawberrytiramisu2 жыл бұрын
Ngl personally it depends on how I feel that day. Some days I’m just not confident enough to wear tight clothes so I’ll wear baggy tees and hoodies. Other days I feel good about myself so I’ll wear tight clothes.

i used to feel chained to crop tops + high-waisted pants bc i was 1. super insecure about my stomach and 2. thought it was supposed to be lengthening or whatever…. but i always felt uncomfortable and couldn’t place why!! now i realize it’s bc i have a larger chest and shorter torso, so wearing this combo would truncate my frame and draw attention to my chest… not to mention i was so tired of all the compression going on around my waist 😭 ever since i realized low waist + regular shirt i’ve felt much more comfy and it really looks nice !! it’s all about finding what works for you

hi lainii!!! I never commented here before, but I'd just like to say, here in Brazil where I live I learned that Zara has codes their workers have to say out loud on those microphone announcements when black people enter their stores, and they discovered that happens in some other countries as well like the US, where the security guards are more "alert" because these black people can "rob the store" and there's this assumption at Zara, so just so you know, Zara rly sucks and people here in Brazil have been boycotting them for some months now ever since they heard of that. love your content as always, and yes, baggy all the way! you inspired me to wear my wide leg jeans with my super wide and baggy t shirt with chunky shoes and be over the top with my tiny bag LOL

Laini pleasee make a video someday on smart casual/ kind of formal wear for school presentations, i always struggle with that as i feel uncomfortable wearing a simple white blouse + office pants in a school setting(or anywhere really). Plus i somehow always end up looking like a middle aged english or math teacher😭 Nothing wrong with looking like a teacher but im 17 so yeah..

So am i the only one who’s more uncomfortable in baggy clothes? Like there’s just too much fabric, it gets in the way when i try to move.maybe it’s just my body type or maybe I’m not used to it but I don’t like it
@ipig23792 жыл бұрын
Yeah there are occasions when I pull it off. Like the shirt is baggy but it's kinda heavy so it hang on my shoulder nicely. But it is rare to find a good baggy shirt or pants. Most of mine I use at home cuz if I do use them outside as an outfit I feel shabby and throughout the day I'd see someone wearing tight clothes and Ill be like i shouldve worn tight clothes too lmaoo thats just me tho. I sound so superficial and shallow aaaa well thats what i feel abt it

edit2: i decided to be a delinquent for once and i changed the shirt size to medium (my size). i think the owner noticed but didn’t say anything because it’s same shirt just different size and maybe thought i was smart lol edit: styled it with my favorite jeans and i love the shirt again lol i feel bad rn because i got a shirt that has my favorite album on it but the colors of the print are lower quality (dw it still looks like the album cover just colors aren’t vibrant), the shirt is one size bigger than what i usually wear and i literally dont wear colors that are on the album cover (blue and yellow) and i feel like shit :( i was so happy when i got it but now a few hours later i dislike it maybe i’ll start liking it when i make an outfit with it? hopefully

i think for the midriff trend it’s cute for people who enjoy it, but also makes me 🤔 bc fashion houses and brands style clothing around a skinny midriff like it’s an accessory in order to “complete” the look. obv nothing new but it seems more exacerbated with current trendy looks and how revealing the midriff has gotten

Tip number one is making all 5’11” of my body happy about my one pair of pants that’s is long enough/slightly too long. For a tall woman on a budget, I’ve gotten used to the fact that 95% of clothes that fit my hips or wait will be too short (no need to get started on pants that fit those, too 🤦♀️)
