What I notice happens with me is it starts to itch or burn and then I start to look at my eczema and wish it wasn't there. Then the cycle continues. Being super aware when it starts to itch and fully accepting that in the moment is really helpful. Not seeing it as something that is wrong or needs to change.

Hi Dr. Sarah, how do You explain that my eczema started after having a DVT from my Moderna vaccination. My left leg swelled up and the eczema started from then on. I never had eczema before this happened. Ambrose UK.

If you are in a relationship with a toxic person, or living with toxic family or have toxic boss/coworkers, get as far away from them as you can. Sometimes for financial reasons we can't, so make a plan and make an escape when you can. Toxic people cause us to live in hypervigalence. Figure out how you have to grow and change so you don't end up with new toxic people. Look up people who are immune to narcissists and do that. No amount of breathing exercises and meditation and forcing yourself to have positive thoughts will help because if someone is wanting to power trip and play mind games it will very hard to think positively around them.

Hello. Thank you for your videos. I’m having a terrible eczema outbreak below the neckline. Very red itchy circular hives all down my chest, back, arms, hands, butt cheeks. Products you’d recommend? Thank you.

Does leg and ankles swelling is common in eczema? I am having swollen ankles along with itching
@DrSarahWright Жыл бұрын
Hi there! Swelling (or edema) in the lower extremities is not typically a common sign with eczema. This could potentially indicate a problem with your kidneys actually. Definitely mention this to your doctor and get some basic blood work done (CBC and CMP) to start.

Oh, so if you don’t talk about it hat makes it go away? I don’t think so. A life without trauma, I couldn’t even begin to imagine! I was born to be abused, that was my purpose in life, and now have severe eczema. My abusers’ lives are totally fine, but I am still in hell and nothin makes it go away. No diet, I have eliminated every inflammatory food. No cream or product. No cleanse, nothing. Nothing.

I'm truly sorry for your experience. Everyone has a different story, some a lot harder than others to be sure. I hope you find healing ❤
@AudreySeybold Жыл бұрын
It’s hard to explain. A life without trauma, not gonna happen. Had a doctor look at me and say “she looks like she’s been through a lot of trauma” to another doctor not realizing I could hear it! I did get through all these stress related conditions though. I’m not perfect at it but learning. Sure stress is unavoidable. But i’ve been incorporating these little things in. I’m addicted to stress probably at this point subconsciously. But Ive been doing little things that have been making a monumental difference. Taking 5 minutes a few times a day to make spearmint tea, feel the warmth and breathe in the steam… breathe deep into my belly and become aware of the incredible work my body is doing and aware of breathing. You were not born to be abused! :) I assure you! Make a list of all the things you like to do and do those. Enjoy them because you were born for a reason. i’m so sorry all that happened to you btw. I know it freaking must be hard.
