Hello Gift, i moved directly to Calgary because i got a provincial nomination from the Alberta province and of course before i applied for Alberta provincial nomination. i did my research, Calgary has a lower cost of living compared to most provinces in Canada, lower tax, lower rent compared to most larger provinces, Availability of jobs and schools as well as safety when you look at natural disasters and hazards, the CON here is the harsh weather. but i think its a good place to start your life in Canada and ,move later if you don't like it.
