Great tips. Ankle stiffness , hip flexors and plyometrics training during the day can put you in a great position instead of spending hours at the gym

You can work on all of those in the gym and if your talking about doing the basic strengthing in the gym for hours yeah that’s probably bad for the most part

Amazing advice, I'm pretty similar to you in terms of build and I know exaclty the feeling of getting so close to a goal and then boom getting injured. It happens to me so often and I really should take your advice and I will

Is it bad to get too much sleep? When I get to sleep in I get around 12 hours each night but with school coming up I’ll probably go down to around 8

What about an easy jog or just really relaxed movement in general? I used to be afraid of that but nowadays I've realized that it if anything makes me faster
@justjumari Жыл бұрын
I think extensive plyos is the best variation of general movement . I would avoid long jogs just because of the slow twitch development and fatigue

Regarding the caloric deficit, what if I want to lose some of my body fat while still sprinting? Should I continue the calorie deficit and hold out on sprint training until I reach my goal bf% ?

Did u do track and football in high school or just track?

My parents keeping making me play soccer 3x a week, because they say if I only do track I will burn out. Although I don't dislike soccer, its hard for me to get my track training in because I'm constantly sore from soccer. (I can usually get 1 solid track and weightroom workout per week). Do you think my speed can still increase or nah.

you still overcomplicate it. really. I would recommend just to avoid dumb stuff like. Too much Alcohol, party, wich often results in lack of sleep. I also highly recommend to have a 2nd goal outside from athletics. Some work/job or routine you like to do. Just to get variety in your mind.

With my results people are blessed I’m educating. Just because you want to stay ignorant to the science and tips that alot of people don’t know about it, doesn’t mean I have to value your opinion
