The Reddit post "I went from Level 80-90 in 5 days, Bug?". You receive all the level ups from the levels you skip during the timehiests. Squid Princess got the XP boost during a level up. So that would explain how the user went from 80-90 in 5 days. (My previous comment with the reddit link got deleted or not posted).

what differentiate mid game from endgame? I'm at level 96, I have a baby Apoc, a one diamond Dormammu, a two diamond icarus, but I'm only at level 54 in Areana.

So early game is level 65? Wtf. Lol I started this game a week or so ago. No clue what I’m doing I’m lvl 42 and I hear that early game starts at lvl 65. Yikes
