Shock mounts work just fine when driving over flat ground so long as they have travel distance! Nothing wrong with saving some material there

why have that when i can put 2 suspensions and 2 bearings on the top and a pipe bar with 2 extra bearings for the "axle"

You certainly can, I use this suspension for the leverage and travel that the pipe arm extending over the tire gives
