@mareknovotny5441 Жыл бұрын
Fluoride literally helps your teeth and bones. You are not supposed to swallow your toothpaste because there is much more F in it than in water. To be exact, in water it is 1 ppm, while in toothpaste it's over 1000 ppm pretty much in every toothpaste. The amount makes the poison. Even water can kill you if you drink too much of it, it happens usually in clubs, because people are told to drink enough and some drink too much.

Hexafluorosillic acid is not a naturally ocurring compound, it's an aluminum refining bi-product and does not exist outside of our manufacturing pipeline on this planet that we know of as of the time this comment was posted. Flourine is extremely common though, it's the 9nth element on the periodic table and naturally occuring compounds containing flourine can be good for you but not hexafluorisilic acid. The EPA was just forced to release their environmental assessment on hexafluorosilic acid by court order, there is no safe minimum dosage for chronic exposure, it always hurts you, no matter how little you have.

ZeroWater does not remove Fluoride to any major extent. I tested in 2020, its a bullshit filter.

Why not start with addressing whether or not fluoride removal is even necessary? If a person drinks distilled water in enough quantity it will absolutely kill you or anyone else for the same reason fluoride will kill you or anyone else. Early scientists searching for beneficial drug compounds said that there's no such thing as a lethal drug, there's always a lethal dose !

The great fluoride debate! Some folks are adamant about removal, while others are not

My wife is allergic to fluoride. She gets rashes and welts from it. She has to be very careful when she goes to the dentist because they want to use fluoride on her.

An allergy is not the same as an outright poisoning.

Could you please explain? I live in an apt., use a Waterdrop pitcher, I can't install anything, but was considering going back to distilled water.

Is there a specific water distiller you recommend?

Yes! Check out the Pure Water Mini classic, this is a great American made countertop distiller bit.ly/3WaO92w

I use a megahome water distiller. Skip their optional charcoal filters. You clean it every once in a while with food grade citric acid (amazon). In the long run, much cheaper than a Reverse Osmosis system, but if you have a large family, maybe get a RO system. It's must me, so the megahome is just fine for my needs.
