Honestly I'll be happy as long as Oda expands the universe instead of finishing Luffy's story then retiring OP

My thoughts on Joy Boy is that he was a giant. It makes sense if you first consider the big straw hat and assume that it's his, and then ponder how the poneglyphs were even able to be transported around the world when they are huge and heavy like nothing else in the series. It would also create a nice connection to Elbaf which most people assume is important to the history of the OP world.

What if kaidou is a mythical zoan user dragon type and has awakened it which is why he is always in mid dragon and human form that gives him impermeable skin and those horns which are rather real unlike jack? Momo is the 3rd ancient weapon, Uranus, hence his ability to talk to zunesha. After Luffy becomes the king and they uncover the final Poneglyph, they will realize the will of the ancient kingdom (you were most likely correct in saying they were the Ds) is to use the ancient weapons to destroy mariejois (and fish man island right underneath it, hence madam sharleys prediction) moving the fish men to land using Noah and thus uniting all 4 seas as well as fish man island, and overthrowing the reign of the celestial dragons. (Hence “One Piece”) IMO that’s how this is all gonna play out. (Details aside obviously) I’m also presuming there will be 3 final “boss” arcs, which is a battle with Blackbeard for the one piece itself, a final war with the marines upon uniting the world, and then a final encounter with shanks where he returns the straw hat and their crews potentially fight (purely for honors sake) because “they are now both great pirates”

I think the D. clan had a special ability, similar to Devil Fruits. Perhaps they were referred to as devils and their abilities or sources of their abilities as Devil Fruits. When the DF user dies, that devil fruit transfers to another fruit and the DF is reborn again. The D clan also has the same ability, if one of them dies, their will (encompassing dreams, hopes, ambitions) get transferred to someone else of the same lineage (so another D). Roger inherited Joyboys will and set out to sea, unfortunately for him time/fate were against him as he picked up an incurable disease. Since he knew the secret of the D's he thought if he were to have a son, then that son would inherit Joy Boys will like he did and find the One Piece, since he'd be born around the same time as Shirahoshi. Roger knew the reason why he inherited Joy boys will was not to use the One Piece himself but to inspire the next D who'll inherit his will after he dies. I think Luffy has accidentally discovered 2 of the 3 ancient weapons. Shirahoshi is currently Poseidon and Franky knew they way to build Pluton from the blue print and he got it from Tom. I think Tom might have build the Oro Jackson with inspiration from the Pluton blueprints, and Franky might have build subconsciously from Oro Jackson blueprints to build the Thousand Sunny. I think that Uranus might be the power to create and control devil fruits. Consider that Shanks was the first modern pirate (that we know of) to wear that straw hat (which he was very attached to), which he later passed on to Luffy. Not too interesting, until you think about the strange level of influence Shanks has with the highest levels of the world government (obviously the straw hat was a symbol that they, or at least Imu, already knew about). Also, consider how Shanks decided to not go to Raftel, but instead remained with the sick Buggy. And that he is using his influence as a Yonko and his ties to the world government to manipulate global events towards some particular outcome. If the theory about Shanks being a celestial dragon is true, or at least the possibility that his connection to the world government is deeper than that of just an amicable Yonko, these facts become VERY interesting. What is the story behind Shanks joining Roger's crew? Perhaps he actually didn't go to Raftel because he already knew something about what Roger would find there? The threads of a theory are certainly there, although I'm not sure that there's enough to weave a solid one together.
