Holy moly I am going to watch this one ! His books are the books that brought me to Christ ! I was floundering and studying every religion and when it came to Christianity I read a bunch of books but when I read Strobles books the Holy Spirit gripped my heart and from that day forward I laid my faith at the bottom of the cross . Shawn your eagerness to learn more about your faith and your relationship with Christ is a gift to us all as your guests are witnessing to us and you can see the Holy Spirit working within you to ask such deep poignant questions . I grew up Catholic, went to church until I was about 14. Then just kind of stopped going when I was a teen. Lately, I've been seeing some signs it might be time to go back. Been really thinking of the true meaning of Christmas lately out of the blue, sat on a park bench the other day and the man next to me asked me if I was a man of faith and we chatted about religion. I heard a song about prayer yesterday that really hit me. Today, I woke up having thoughts of attending Christmas Eve mass with my mom (something she used to ask of us until we turned 18). Can't help but feel God is calling out to me. Then today now, this pops in my feed. The signs are there.

Catholicism isn't the answer my friend nor is religion, but faith in Jesus alone... repenting of our sins and putting our faith in the fact that Jesus came to Earth to die for our sins that we could go to heaven. All we have to do is believe that he died was buried and rose again... repent of our sins and if we put our faith and trust in Jesus alone. He will save us

Religion is a Creed, Code, and Cult. The Creed is the review of the will of God for man which you are commanded to obey. The Code is revealed symbolism of what the universe is about and you are commanded to believe in it. The Cult is the revealed form of worship you must practice and which you are commanded. Religions have to send out missionaries because they are so uncertain of their own opinions they have to convert everyone else to agree with them. They are made to externalize God and can only exist by brainwashing the young... There's a big difference in being Spiritual and being in a religious cult.

Got tears coming up to my eyes watching just the preview. Years ago I realized the more I thought about God and how he has blessed me, wife and future family I start to cry and or just in shock. I’m so dang grateful for all of it. All the good days and tests. I’ve realized the older I get and learning more about him, communicating, following about my father I can really feel that I have a stronger relationship with him then years ago. I can sense it in my body and really feel it. Such a great full circle moment I’m really gonna watch this and save this episode. Thank you Shawn for all that you do.

One day I had a thought that has stuck with me. God really owes us nothing. He gave us life, He came to earth as a man to help us, He left us life's user manual (The Holy Bible), He took the blame for our sins, and for those who follow Him, He gave us an eternity in Heaven. He really does not "owe" us anything more. WE owe Him everything. He is not a genie in a lamp and He doesn't worship us...we are designed to worship Him. If He, like a genie, came out to help us every time we need Him, we wouldn't want Him or desire Heaven as we'd have Heaven on earth. I believe that He answers prayers based on spiritual paths...those that lead to Him, he answers. I also believe He answers prayers that are deeply, deeply sincere...the kind of prayer where you are at your rock bottom and you call on His might name...Jesus! God reads the heart, not the lips, so He can sense the condition of your spirit versus what you say. I pray my words help those who read them. Praise Almighty God!

He allows us to struggle and even take on more than we can handle in order for us to get through it, He wants us to trust in Him fully and rejoice in not only good moments but also in the worst times. While a sophomore in college, my sister’s hands started to have a strange tingling sensation. She shrugged it off until it progressively became worse and it turned into numbness. She had babysat for a Dr. while in high school and upon him hearing what was happening from my parents, he advised them to have her immediately come home, he was setting up an appointment with a neurosurgeon. After her appointment, the neurosurgeon met privately with my parents and told them she had a large tumor on her spine. The prognosis was paralysis post surgery. The only thing he wasn’t sure of, is if it would be from the neck down or waist down. My parents were obviously devastated. They elected not to tell her his prognosis as the news of what was occurring was heavy enough and they prayed he would be wrong…Fast forward to the day of surgery which was scheduled to take up to 11 hours. My parents were sitting in the waiting room, it was relatively full all day. Around the 9 hour mark my parents see what they described as an incredibly beautiful young girl, college aged. Blonde hair, blue eyes. They were both struck by her beauty and said she seemed to glide in more than walk. She took a seat next to my Mother and sat there not saying a word. A few minutes later, she turned to my Mother and said, “Don’t worry, everything is going to be ok.” She then got up and “glided” out. The second she was through the door, the Dr. came into the waiting room and the exact words out of his mouth were “It’s a miracle.” My sister had full feeling and movement in her arms and legs. The Dr. was beside himself and had no explanation other than, it was a miracle. The oddness of the “girl” that came in and spoke to my Mother now sank in even deeper. My parents talked with the other people in the waiting room. No one saw this girl. We all believe the only explanation is this was my sister’s Guardian Angel.

First off- the guy who’s doing your intros is killing it- second I appreciate you asking the hard questions. As a father myself going through Lymes disease have had the exact same question. My conclusion is because He can see the end game . As bad as this has been I have learned more about myself and the faithfulness of God than I ever would have otherwise. I still believe for miraculous healing and in fact I believe He told me He is going to heal me . I’m just waiting on His timeline and trying to do my best to learn from this experience everything I am supposed to learn while keeping the faith that He’s got me. I’ve had some amazing experiences that He has shown me that He’s there. He hasn’t left me. He’s helping me grow into a man of God . And well. I Have to trust His judgement. And I do..

Look up here on KZbin, the preacher preaching a sermon.. his last sermon because he had a disease that took most of his voice. It was too hard to preach anymore. His voice was weak, gravelly & trembling. In real time, his voice became strong & clear. The congregation was in shock! Many were crying… praising God! They all knew they were witnessing right before their eyes a true miracle! It’s still around for anyone to see! Praise the Lord! 🙌🙏🏼

@ShawnRyanshow to answer your question and I feel your frustration he’s always there. We just have to earn our way to him. We do that by submitting to the truth. Brother the first step is to seek diligently to find him. Part of that is realizing how retched and imperfect we truly are. The other is you must want to do right no matter what. You must want to change. The best part is once you see it and you will it will make sense. Instead of using a drug to reach a higher consciousness you will be doing it through life. Much better and more solid way. The rest I can’t put into words. You are on the right track! Keep going! Last thing I will tell you; He allows things to happen to us that are rough to forge us. No different in concept than military training however he’s not the one causing your pain. He’s trying to save you from it. I’m telling you once you find him you will wonder why more people don’t.

This helped. Study the moment Moses was called to walk up the mountain thinking he was meeting the Lord face to face. With great anticipation questions and concerns Moses had the same thoughts as many for what he had been through. Then I rewatched the entire movie again. So many messages. In the long ending it is your faith that will sustain but not until. Not until your faith is solidified. That’s what he wants bc you will have a different look on life. It’s more of an acceptance of the Lord to understand life then once you understand life you can make a choice to follow in his Faith or leave it’s up to you. Life to me now is learning about good and evil. The Lord wants us to stay safe, safe then is when we can make good healthy safe choices to stay away from evil. We stay away from evil by believing in him which is good. Its not about so much as you’re a father vs him being a father. It’s not exactly the same and you will get that when you review that moment Moses met him. Yes you are a loving father. The Lord though is “”The Father”” You will get that message too in the movie. Believing through Jesus will get you there. I’m sure Theologians here can explain too, This is the best way I can explain it. I hope this helps.
