Most people don't realize that a Job is not supposed to be paying bills. J.O.B. = Just Over Broke Unfortunately, the system was designed to create workers, not entrepreneurs. People should look into why the Dept of Education was created. Definitely all for the hustle, and you do what you must in order to keep food, clothing, shelter, and an emergency fund. This economy is jacked, and the only way to beat it is to think like those in wealth management. These jokers understand how to stay afloat in these difficult times. As another black man, I know the struggle and hustle...and its true, if you can survive in NYC, you can survive anywhere. It's all about the minerals. Can't even trust the food anymore. If I had the means right now, I'd grow my own damn food. Better yet, I'd move to S. America. They at least have real food. Preach brother, you are speaking what most people are thinking... I don't put my faith in any govt or political party... Neither party gives a damn... and shoot, I wish I could get free rent and food! or close to it.
@MemoGrafix27 күн бұрын
I figured out back in 2000 that is what a J.O.B. is. Some people thought I was crazy for saying that. It was always at least You got a paying Job people responded to Me. NO respect to Antebellum Slavery. But My Late-GrandMother said to Me in 1988 while I worked 2 hamburger jobs: *_"The piece of ass wages people are paid is kinda worst than Slavery. Sure it was HARD to live back then. At least You had a leaky roof over Your head, water to wash Yo' ass with and food from the plantation to eat. You're a WAGE SLAVE. You can't even pay rent to live in a shoebox apartment (in NYC); pay utilities; buy food/hygienic products/clothes AND pay money to get to/from Your 'J.O.B.' "_* Still sticks in My mind TODAY.

The man still got you regardless if you’re an entrepreneur or not… You still have to make money to pay bills… The bills are the “man”… Even if someone makes a boatload of money they STILL have to pay bills even if it’s easy for them to pay bills… As long as you’re living in America you will be a slave no matter if you have money or not because America is a corporation and not a “free” country
@jsocials27 күн бұрын
Well said. I always talk to my European counterparts, and as much as we make fun of their economy and lower GDP, they don't have anywhere near the financial stresses the average joe/jane here got. Life is difficult everywhere, but America and Canada take 'struggle' to a whole new level. A big difference is Europe invested in public services which saves their population a ton of money from transit etc vs AMERICA where Corporations own all the infrastructure and have monetized everything. Sad state of affairs for sure.

@ Yes, I absolutely agree… And the faster people understand that America is built on capitalism, the more it will make sense on why things/systems are setup here the way they are… There is no getting around it even if you’re financially well off, you’re still a slave here in America and always will be… It was purposefully designed to perpetuate a cycle… People also thinking that because they’re “entrepreneurs” that they’re beating the “man” or they’re not in the “rat race” anymore but they’re still on the hamster wheel, it’s just a version that’s easier to digest and not so blatantly obvious to see

When u live BEYOND UR MEANS then yes u are working just to pay bills. Some of y’all should be living and with roommates or family and stacking and working together 🤷🏾♂️. Hispanics will live with a house full of ppl and eventually own 2-3 houses on the block.

Too much complaining not enough production. If you thinking about getting outta here for some island. Yeah you don't travel at all I see. I just left Jamaica 2.months ago. Gas was $9 a gallon. I go to the Bahamas, Virginia Islands, Bermuda Antigua, Haiti etc. You can't be broke there either. Or you'll be living like a hobo here.

We're all in this large game of Monopoly. I believe we would win this game if we had strong impact communities that were semi self-sufficient. Figuring out how to qualify for Section 8 Freeland and Free Housing is super hard. But somehow my friend has been able to figure it out. She is living really good on Section 8 but she still complains all the time.
