The monetary system has evolved over the years, ( but not by natural forces, rather by the designs of bankers, who profit by their manipulations) Therefore, what you are experiencing today is not what it was in 1940, or in 1900 or in 1860 etc etc. It is important to keep this thought in mind. That the currency system is still in a state of flux, ever further manipulated to advantage the banker and disadvantage further (steal from ) the ignorant common man. 99% of the people, and we dont understand this at first, or the extent to which monetary practices have evolved to steal from us, because in our minds we work for money, our parents worked for money and so did our grandparents, so isn't it all pretty much the same with a little bit of inflation ? Hell no ! And because monetary principles can't be seen with our eyes, they are abstracts and hard to get our heads around, they are a completely separate topic to practical daily living, yet they effect our daily life totally. The first principle to understand is that you have been robbed of real money by successive bankers, because the whole idea of 'Money ' is to hold something of real value as your own property, and to receive something of real value for your labour and productivity. But you get nothing, you get zero of value. You get paper, or plastic or electrons for your work and efforts. You have been hood winked by slight of hand and mind. Your forefathers were paid in real money, but the bankers were limited in what they could loan out by metalic money, so they sought to do away with it, and they invented the promissory note, the 'bank note' which promised to be redeemable for a Silver or Gold coin. They did this to remove the natural restriction on what they could loan out, because new debt at interest is their primary tool of harvest. Then, gradually, they removed the metal altogether, telling you it was for your own good, because now you could have a booming economy and more commerce, and no limitation on how many hours both you and your partner could work . (The 'full employment' mandate simply means you all shall work all of the time until you die, but in the 1700s 6 months work would keep you alive all year if you owned your land. ) Once they had the Exclusive note printing power, they went to town, printing any amount their bought servants in government wanted, creating the national debt, whereby an unborn child is born in servitude and serfdom to an now $80,000 to $ 150,000 debt to who ? That would be the share holders of the Federal Reserve if you live in the United States, or the Central Bank in your country, and also the large private banks, for once government abrogated the currency creation power to both the Central and large private banks, they must then go cap in hand to the banks to build new public infrastructure. So now every county, state and nation has indebted their ' citizens' in totally unpayable debts to the currency creators. Meanwhile after Bretton Woods the Federal Reserve sent its agents around the world to ensure that all Central banks were created in its own image, doing exactly what it does, so no one shows them up, even though quite a few Central banks are not privately owned like the Federal Reserve is. So that's a small taste on the first faulty monetary principle and that's before we talk about the interest on the new worthless currency that they create for zero cost.

@lorettaonpolitics4370 they can't afford it because of manipulated inflation. Ever hear the term wallstreet land lord. Look into it. What America is facing today is what Thomas Jefferson forseen over 200 years ago about the banks and corporations owning everything around you, leaving you without a nation. They are manipulating and trying to control every aspect of life from food, land, shelter. Look at every sector it is regulated and not in favor of small business but large conglomerates that lobby government. Rents are insane because of property taxes and maintenance cost has tripled. Water heater cost $1700-2200.00 for one to install. A/c cost 8,000-11,000 for good man now! Have to get 5-6 estimates to get lowest install…. Renters don’t change the filters which also damages the systems.

Do you believe in your heart of hearts it's the same with people today? At the heart of these issues is a corrupt school system filled with corrupt employees/union members, who make it their business to ensure students are as maleducated as possible. So, now, so many people have an incredibly difficult time making good decisions, being motivated to earn their way, having long-term goals, and that understand the factual connection between the things that occur in real life. That is true which I had to keep trying for better jobs so I wouldn't have to work 2 jobs. What made it impossible is for parents which are part of the family not wanting to work but expecting the adolescent children to work while they sat on their butts. I refused that concept once I put in 12 years of that BS and left to make my own way living in an apartment which my mother would start up expecting me to fork out money again - I said, "NO MORE!" Get a damn job. She felt 13 years working which I doubt she ever worked. I worked even after I divorced to have a way to pay my way again so I could help pay for my children's needs and education. If I had to do it again - I would have left at 18 but I had a sister that needed someone to help her so I stayed for her. My mother was married but her husband was a deadbeat.

Then come crying to me and tell me how hard that was after working the 16 hour days that I had to work while solo parenting and waiting on tenterhooks for my husband's pay to come in during military training just so we could avoid going into debt and have money to buy flour and sugar to make a loaf of bread and some homemade applesauce from crabapples growing in the local park so my kids don't starve. I'm a widow working full-time, going to school full time and I'm literally living in a homeless shelter with my two kids, driving a 15 year old car that I pray doesn't break down every day. Four years ago, I was living in a 4 bedroom 3 bath home, driving a nice car and as a result of everything that happened during COVID (including my husband dying from cancer) we lost everything. My credit went from 800 to 425 and we literally lost everything. We couldn't even get all of our stuff from our home. It really hurt to read this. I was in your exact position minus the shelter because in Daytona beach they have shelters for men and separate shelters for woman but woman with 2 girls that are “too old” can’t stay. And the other one wanted to put us in separate shelter cuz it was for female DV victims. Which I was. The third one said the same thing “my minor children were too old” the age cap was 12. I hate what’s going on in this world. Me and my girls were on the street, we had a new car that the city towed and I had no way to get it back. I mean we were in the street. And in Florida they will not take your child away just for being homeless. So we slept in the woods while I couldn’t get them to school anymore they had to come to work with me. I had to steal them food sometimes and I went without EVERYDAY. And would you believe just 5 years ago I owned a brand new 3 bed 2 bath home in new Smyrna beach that was paid for outright. No mortgage. My dad had a stroke and my stepmother literally put us on the street as power of attorney, she took me to court and she won. She got my house AND my trust fund. and too this day still has me blocked on her phone. Evil is everywhere. Sometimes closer than you’d imagine. Live for you and your kids. I couldn’t even sign up for a section 8 because they FROZE the waiting list when vivi’s happened. I have learned not to trust another living soul. I just clawed my way out of it but I f’d up my credit so I had to pay first last security and 3 extra months to get in a place I can’t afford. Now I work for a shit little townhouse. I am grateful that I have a roof over my head. But man I couldn’t have been stripped of anything except my kids and thank god I was able to keep them. The worst part is no one cares. They see it and pretend they don’t. I have lost faith in all of humanity. I am slowly trying to allow myself to get it back but no one has done anything, I did it all. I agree with you about the haves and have-nots. I was a have-not growing up. One of 5 kids and well below the poverty line. I thought everyone waited on line for free USDA surplus food on Saturdays. We didnt know we were poor until we moved out of NYC to Long Island. We couldn't afford a yearly $25 rental so I could continue playing the trumpet in the school band. I started working at age 11 when we moved to Lake Ronkonkoma. I mowed lawns, raked leaves and shoveled snow. I made wood funiture and delivered Newsday 7 days a week for 7 years. I was making more money than my parents. I lived within my means and even paid bills, like the phone bill, for our household. I invested my money as I was spending it. I always considered cost vs. value on just about everything. I realized the fork in the road between the haves and have-nots. I decided the have path was the one I wanted. Helping your adult kids is only enabling them to be dependent on your support and not teaching them to stand on their own 2 feet. If your daughter can only afford arun-down trailer to live in, why is she having a second child? Life is about making smart choices. Get an education...make smart choices and live within your own means. Sounds like you and your daughter are not making smart choices. Oh...and BTW....im a have. I have multiple homes and vehicles, travel someplace fun at least every month, have a pension and a 403b and 401k.......and im debt free...no student loans, mortgages, car payments and credit card debt.

The deductible gets bigger each year. In 2015, I got laid off at my job and hired back the next day as a contractor at half the pay, twice the work and benefits that don’t even count. I’m 64 years old and as it stands right now I have a pituitary adenoma that needs to come out and I’ve had a hernia for so long my abdomen has unzipped from the bottom of my breastbone to below my belly button. I’ve had 4 teeth in the back of my mouth that have broken off at the gum line. NONE of any of those things will ever be resolved. I’m tired. Because any time someone does try, others say it's socialism and a welfare state, so no. They call taking care of their own society draining on said society and wonder why everyone is depressed, sick, poor, and exhausted. Pull yourself up by the bootstraps and all that, take care of yourself, your family, and no one else aside from that weekly tithing plate. It's a scam to make a small amount of people very rich off the efforts of the majority of the population. There should be no billionaires when people are starving. We were supposed to learn to share when we were kids, but it's the spoiled ones who actually made out good in the world. Let’s be real, you know that trickle down economics never trickled down. His handling of COVID was abysmal. He even kept it from the American ppl until so many folk started dying that he had to address it. Sure gas was low and so were groceries at that time but that was before the pandemic. Yes, house prices are a lot higher these days, but so id the hourly wage. When we bought our home, the interest rate was 15%, which pretty much made our mortgage payments the same as today, while making less money. It is all doable if you want to make it work, but you have to make the right choices or deal with the consequences.

I live in a university town where approval has been given for a new apartment complex that will proba bly for students. As I understand, a lot of older and not-rich people will have to find new housing as their current homes will be torn down.

In 1984 I was 26, married with one child and was buying a house. House payment was between $300-350 a month. One income of $21000.

Sorry to break it to you but both your political parties are hell bent on damaging people at the expense of profit. It's your culture. And I don't know how you can get out of it, because you worship money, not real values.

This lady is absolutely 💯 % CORRECT! She is saying the things that we all feel!
@kintsukuroi6300Ай бұрын
The lady is saying the truth but accountability goes both ways where is the common sense to get pregnant with a second child when you are ALREADY struggling? 'Common sense is like a flower that does not grow in every garden' Another example is young couple already struggling still having 4 kids, she is a house wife and the husband in a blue collar job; 1 salary to feed a family of 6. INSANITY!! who pay the price the children! In life there are many injustices but the biggest one: to be born to parents with ZERO common sense, with no compass in life.

She’s saying EXACTLY what I think every day. I am basically in that same boat as the daughter she describes but with absolutely nobody to help me. It’s not a lack of work ethic or laziness or any “moral” issue. We are DROWNING out here.

@@donsullivan6199 HOW DARE YOU CALL HER SALVATION INTO QUESTION. *You* are not qualified to speak on such matters. Her being single or married or divorced is of NO consequence to her situation. If someone is working more than full time and cannot support themselves something is wrong with the system, not the individual. NO ONE HERE has said ANYTHING about the need or lack thereof of men. You're projecting an angry incel vibe. Also, if you're going to attack someone, you need to make sure you do so intelligently. Your whole comment is littered with errors, you ignoramus.
