Awesome review! I'm still thinking of getting this bad boy since i really like it's aesthetic and performance. The price is also not that bad for the unit. Only thing holding me back is the durability and longevity since GAC is still new here in the PH. I'm just afraid that we're going to have a hard time getting parts in case we need to replace something. Any advise or inputs from owners would be appreciated.

Glad you liked it. Try researching sa facebook groups and get some real owner feedback there. The biggest issue is if, for example, you get an accident, ayun for sure, headache galore. GAC is continuously opening new branches, and as long as they continue with great cars, I think the brand will be here for a long time.

Is there any mechanical / suspension difference between R style and mid GB version ? Is the ride smoothness the same in R style and mid GB version

From the brochure, at least their is no difference. I suspect it all comes to the ride height and tuning.

@@testdriveph Probably some tuning done for R style , in the GB i feel the road and every small bump , The R Style also feels more quiet , GB is not as smooth as R style and jerking in city traffic. can the GB be tuned by the dealer ?

Boss ako may naramdaman na init sa batok ng konti. Pero 12nn un and super init talaga along Mindanao Ave. Pero un ACU nya di nakatodo. Ceramic tint lang yan kakayanin na cguro.

No issues so far. And syempre depende sa casa yan.. but so far lalo pag may mga minimal issues, days upto weeks okay naman. Meron din naman yung nabangga. 2 months.. pero umabot ng ganun dahil sa insurance.😅

As a Gac R style owner- Honest review: Road noise is too much / Night drive is sooo bad - Headlights lack on side vision angle. /'Car suspension is bad esp on the back. Mud guard is a must- talsik masyado sa pisngi ng sasakyan.

I dont know why people clamors for arguments between several brands as to who is better and whatnot. At the end of the day, it will always boils down how you used/ took care of the car and the after sales.

pansin ko lang sa mga car reviewers, there seems to be double-standard as far as comparing cars. you lump the mainstream brands in one group and and the chinese brands in one group. when a chinese car is reviewed, it's only being pitted against chinese brands of the same class and no mention of a mainstream brand falling into the same class and how they compare. i could be wrong on my perception, but that's my observation watching different local car reviewers.

Because mainstream Japanese brands can't win against the Chinese once. Nag-rarange ng 2m-5m bago mapantayan ng mainstream brands ang low tier ng Chinese brands. Sa power pa lang eh wala na yung mga ka-presyo ng Emzoom vs sa mga Japanese counterparts

@@lupitlupitan but don’t you think it’s much better to do that? compare directly to mainstream brands and show superiority of the new players. it may help erase the chinese stigma of some people and get them to have second thoughts. i sometimes doubt these local reviewers and couldn’t help but think they’re protecting reputation of some brands by doing this “double-standard” approach to reviewing cars in our market.

In my case, the simple reason I compared the geely colray versus this emzoom simply because both cars were in the same place, back then my "portfolio" of car reviews was pretty thin and finally that was the talk of the town and was heavily requested (coolray versus emzoom). For video content, I think for a fair comparo, both or all cars being compared should be compared back to back. That in itself is tough to do, Logistics and schedule wise. I personally have not been asked by ANY brand to lean more to them than their competitors. Believe or not each brand wants to impress by means of their offering and nothing else. I think websites or written content are better sources if you want direct comparisons. For the emzoom though, with the crossovers I've tested, I still stand by my opinion that it's up there with the best of them. Thank you for sharing your thoughts
