Do Women Put The Wrong Guys In The Friend Zone?

This topic is always interesting to me. I always try to figure out why both men and women get so upset or feel completely rejected when they get “friendzoned” Personally, I feel if someone doesn’t appreciate who you are and what you bring to the table for whatever reason, bullet dodged. Who wants to spend their time and energy harboring over someone who has to constantly convince themselves to like, love or appreciate you? I look at it as a blessing b/c If someone can’t see or take the time to see the greatness within you...so be it. That’s not to say you can’t be friends (i mean, if they are a great person of course) b/c after all shouldn’t you want to build a healthy friendship first before taking that next step? Men usually don’t want the latter which again, is a bullet dodged and another reason why they get friendzoned in the first place.

Put simple there is a great area of friendship and in that area exists the qualities that a woman likes in a man that she sees and another guy but doesn't feel a strong attraction to and so she keeps him around because she likes those certain qualities knowing that he is trying to pursue her or has tried to pursue her previously this is where the friend zone exist and it goes for both sexes. The problem is it is not outright rejection take this from experience I know when someone's trying to put me in the friend zone versus someone who outright reject me and I can respect that.

I see a lot of females comments saying if they aren't attracted to the guy in that way then accept it because you can't force someone to like you. Now I completely agree with that. Here is where the problem comes in though. Now we know usually its us nice guys that are friend zoned and that the female will pick the thug/asshole and hey that's her choice. Unfortunately a couple of years later she winds up having 2 or 3 kids and the guy doesn't help take care of them he probably abused her in some way. Now the nice guy that genuinely liked her that she friend zoned for those years is still the same nice guy now that he was then. She now is interested and wants to be with the nice guy and the nice guy rejects her and now she is saying all nighas ain't shit then she winds up bitter, depressed and alone with multiple kids that she can barely take care of. Basically females if you choose the bad guy over the nice guy that's fine and dandy as long as you can deal with the consequences.

If you are choosing an action, you're choosing the consequences of said action. I actually agree with what you women said in this video. Just because you like someone doesn't mean the other person is inclined to like you back. It goes both ways for if you friendzone a man or if you friend zone a woman. However the only thing I have to add is, the other person who initiated the friendzone shouldn't be upset if you decide to be with someone else or try to seek extra attention from that person if they are now putting their energy into someone else. It's not fair, because it's more of a selfish desire to want to be wanted by someone even though you don't want them back. This goes for women and men. I feel like a lot of people definitely do this. I'm not saying completely cut the other person off if they friendzone you, that is your choice and up to you on what value you put the relationship between you and the other person, but seeking attention/validation from someone you friendzoned isn't fair/right. I think the way we view the friend zone is different. To me, the friend zone is a place where I categorize men who might feel something for me, but I just want to remain platonic since the feeling isn’t mutual. I love these videos I love to see the point of view of really intelligent black women I just have to say for this video in particular you can't open with there's no such thing as a friend zone and then clearly breakdown that there is clearly a friend zone. If your opening statements is saying that it's all in certain guys heads but then come up with great examples of you yourself doing it and then alluding to it all throughout the video then we have to admit that there some validity to these claims. Some people may have never experienced this but to those who have you can't simply invalidate their claims or put down the experiences as a result of it. The fact is that there is a place for everything we just compartmentalize in this way because this is the treatment that we have received from women we've tried to pursue and instead of rejecting us outright the choose to pretend like there's a friendship there and want to keep us around instead of doing what's right and just letting us go on our way.

It seems to me that women rarely get put in "friend zone" and it is so easy to say that it doesn't exist. And what I also find amazing is when these women go out with guys who are real jerks and when said "jerks" treat these women like crap and then, they start talking to the guy that they put in the "friend zone". I myself have been put in the "friend zone" so many times over the course of 30+ years, I just make the choice to do for myself and put dating on the back burner. The friendzone is interesting on both sides. When you play the field; it never feels like being in the friendzone. If I meet a woman; ask you to go out for drinks or coffee and you’re not interested, I just call someone else. (However, there are times where men and women hit it off in that instant and go for coffee/drinks/date only later to realize it won’t work.) To continue from my thoughts earlier; if you hit me later after saying no to drinks; I will talk/communicate and understand who you are a little more but probably won’t focus on the rejection (something I’ve done since middle school). Mainly because there are so many women and dwelling is very time consuming. I’ve friendzoned some women who think a good date; my status in society and ambition made me a good candidate to investigate and put under a spotlight as a suitor. This sucks cause now it is almost like you have to carry some type of badge of being suave and worldly for them. The stories give perspective to the man and woman dynamic from a male perspective. Furthermore, being around women as much as I am; it is almost a cheat code to understand what they like and dislike about us. I have friend zoned or rejected a lot of guys because of religious differences, large age differences, poor life decisions, multiple out-of-wedlock kids, being in between jobs, or just getting a sense that they were a user of some sort and just trying to hit. Just because a guy expresses interest doesn’t mean he has the best intentions for you or even wants to commit to you. When I was growing up, there had to be a balance. Women who choose bad men are not good women. What has been lost is the understanding that just because you like or are attracted to someone does not mean they are meant for you to be with. Also lost is the understanding that just because you think you are a good person does not mean the opposite sex has an obligation to like you. This channel is very informative regarding how women think, but oh so cringe worthy. Women have the option to friendzone men in their youth. To young, fertile women, it's like a train comes every 5 min. What they don't realize is that consistent male attention has a shelf life. At some point, usually early thirties that consistent male attention slows. It may come still, but not from the same caliber of men they could once get. This is where you hear them lament about, "where are all the nice guys have gone?" Those guys figure it out eventually & stop playing the friendszone game. This is where these men explore their own options, which include women of other races & cultures. Women think they can afford to have backups because they often see men as utilities, like a toaster or vacuum. As a rule, men shouldn't have a relationship until he's in his early thirties. Marriage should be considered in mid thirties only if he wants a family. Until then he should date multiple women at once while pursuing life goals & improving himself. Women get friendszoned too but it's when they can't get commitment from someone they have slept with.
