My close guy friends tend to think I’m cold and heartless because I used to directly reject guys (back when I was single) when I wasn’t interested in them. Till now (I’m attached) I don’t know how to explain to them that I’m not invalidating guys treating them like as if they don’t have feelings, but I just don’t want to waste my time and energy. I’m an introvert and my social energy drains very fast because I work in service line, so I usually prefer things to be straightforward from the start. Also, I’m old (25 this year) and I hate it when guys older than me treat me like a bimbo when I’m just asking them about their work/hobby because I’ve never tried/done it before. Sometimes I feel abit sad when my own close guy friends say I’m heartless, and they just can’t understand it from my pov.

I definitely have a list and like what dan said - it goes by vibes. Could be because of a one-time sus thing that happened like the other person was too touchy or too friendly? Maybe because your partner was over-friendly without knowing and crossed a certain boundary? Not that I don't trust my partner but more of I don't trust the other person. I also feel that people that go on this "list" cannot be people that your partner met before your relationship started haha that's a little unfair. Personally, I always set/keep boundaries with close platonic guy friends so I sorta naturally expect the same of my partner.

The list exist out of insecurity, so instead of addressing the list, address the insecurity. I make my partner feel like he is the only one until his answer to “do you think i’d leave you for another person” is a split second “no”. Then no list :)

Men are simple minded beings. We just want peace & quiet when we are spending time with our mates doing what we like (etc gaming, hobbies or etc). Especially after a long day of work, just let us game or go out for a ride over the weekend please! But on the flip side, we hate cold treatment the most. Doing things without being asked to. A lot of times women gets upset when a men doesn’t do something but men would justify as a communication problem: If women has told or asked men to do, he would’ve done it. However I guess in general, women feel that the actions doesn’t feel as genuine if women has to ask as compared to men doing it in the first place, without being asked. Most basic example: Women want flowers but doesn’t want it if she have to ask for it.

In regards to the hold hand thing during the fight around 18:00. I was just wondering if the gesture of holding hand has a signal of stopping the the other person’s behavior. I understand that their argument is getting irrational and that it may be a cause of medication. However, I was just wondering if the person who has been held are forced to cut off from their emotion which she/he is feeling (just because the other party is uncomfortable with the feelings), yet emotion is something which is very hard to tame (unless you have trained it). Would the wife say something like “sorry, I’m just very piss at the moment, can’t calm down” help John feel less hurtful and less betrayed? Maybe after the hand holding signal, the wife can continue to feel how she is feeling, by calming down alittle, and John allow her to quietly sit there for some alone time. Instead of hoping for an immediate positive feedback from his wife after his effort is given.

great episode, enjoyable to listen to different views... and most women, always have the "list", To add, men can be very petty and over the years in marriage, women tend to ''just bo-chap"' and give up arguing or explaining as it is construed as 'being rude'' or no respect, hence, they prefer to keep silent where possible.

I used to hate when my friends said 'thank you' to me after I did something for them (which imo it's no big deal). Because I always tell them that I'm your friend la, no need to so paiseh and say thank you esp in a really sincere way. But over time, I just think this is how humans work because it will make them feel less burdened or they don't owe me that much after they verbally thank me for my action. Which is fair.

For me I don't get guys who don't give up even though they know they have zero chance with a girl. Basically I have this "friend" who has been consistently messaging me flirty messages for 2 years plus now even though he knows I have a fiance. At first i entertained him to be polite..then it got so irritaring that i politely told him off and now I just don't reply to any of his messages. He is still persistently trying ways to talk to me lol. I tried blocking him but he messaged me on my second account. Why are some guys just so stubborn and don't get the hint?? Dont they have any pride

I do prefer a girl who wants to learn the games I play, get gud and then come back and kick my ass. esp a formal dinner outfit. thats attractive. there is only a rate of she can game or not. but the make over tik toks from the china girls are 0_o or can she pot some balls or not and I mean by clear a 9 ball game with just 1 turn. yeah she would do the opposite to make me go with her plan cos I would change my mind in the last min. but I will rebel if she nags at me like its an order. I do think about how to articulate. even commenting on a video I take time to absorb the content then decide if I want to comment and what to comment. hence the always late replies by 24 hours. to cry and not show, that is the only reason I will watch a sad movie with her. then i will just let it all out and cry then she will ask the movie isn't that sad why am I still crying at the credits... lmao. I am also different with different groups. yet not lose who I am. I always don't need to ask my workgf for anything she will just have a look for everything. or if I say something wrong still will give me another look. and yet every one else doesn't know. I feel that girls will think of the guy wanting more than just be friends. cos of social conforms of social norms. She will want to wing her pals for me if we couldn't get thru to the rings.
