I was there too. Just a dream come true to see ELO. We had to Stub Hub our tix and they were $651 bucks. I would have paid it again on the way out to do it all over

Oh ya, "energy" is an understatement! lol SO FUN, and so LOUD! lol I remember my ears were ringing for a couple of days. lol Concerts back then were different for sure. Its awesome to have the technology now to film, but for me it kinda takes away from the experience. We had no cell phones, and to see everyone holding up their phones, we all used to be clapping, dancing instead. :) Lighters were lit for ballad songs, and other things to. lol It was MUCH looser back then for sure, and if the band playing was having a good time, they would just keep going! Led Zeppelin did that when I saw them. :) Sometimes they would'nt stop until way after midnight. Forgive me for going on, and thank you so much for your post. :)

Oh no! Why do you say so? Your stories are amazing and great that you share your emotions from back then. You saw Led Zeppelin too! How lucky you are! I had tickets for the Zoom tour when Jeff canceled it and I thought I would never see Jeff on a concert. So, at least I've seen him now when he still does it so good! Thanks again for sharing your memories! )))

Do you mean the "ringing in the ears" comment? We bought some of the last tickets available ( I think they were 15.00 lol) and sat right next to one of the huge speakers! lol Yup, Led Zeppelin at the Forum in Inglewood, was my first concert ever, at 15! Had to beg my Mom, as I was just getting over being sick. Nothing was going to stop me from going to that concert! lol :) Saw a lot of concerts at at the Forum during a few years as a teen. Jethro Tull twice, Aerosmith, Deep Purple (an opening act lol) Robin Trower (ASTOUNDING- plays like Hendrix) Neil Young, I almost turned down going, cuz I thought he might be boring, but oh my goodness, when he played "Cinnamon Girl" the place went nuts! lol Fleetwood Mac at the Hollywood Bowl, was awesome, and Emerson Lake & Palmer was mesmerizing. I turned down going to see Elton John on his Yellow brick Road tour, and David Bowie on his Ziggy Stardust tour. :( I couldnt go to either at the time, and oh I wish I could have. There are others too from back then, but Im getting embarrassed going on like this. :) FUN memories for sure! Its an awesome thing that you finally got to see Jeff :) I tell ya, a lot of these older bands, dont always quite sound the same at they did in their prime, and that is perfectly understandable. But Jeff sounds exactly the same, if not better for sure :)

Wow! You've seen lots of great talents and true legends. That is amazing that you went to that concert despite your Mom trying to stop you. I would be really upset years from then if I missed that great chance to see one of the best bands in the history of music. Was great that you shared your memories with me! Thanks a lot! :))
