I came home from work to an empty house and no way to reach my wife and children or any of my in-laws. She thought my family had more money than we did… I didn’t know she was marrying me for money. My wife’s mother set my wife up on a date with a guy who’s family had a lot of money…. It went well and she left me. He turned out to be a pedophile …. Now he is in jail, she is in a mental hospital and I have my kids, an awesome wife and financial security.

Good for you man! I hope your kids are okay and weren't hurt by that disgusting POS. These women are CRAZY. Hopefully she enjoys her time in the mental ward. Why exactly did she end up in there? Hopefully the kids don't have anything to do with her or her parents. I also hope her father saw the light and realized wtf HE was dealing with.

My father was seemingly a nice guy, people outside of our house thought how kind hearted he was. Said he wouldnt hurt a fly. Couldnt have been further from the truth, he was abusive, he constantly threatened violence, he went on tirades ransacking the house and we kids had to clean it up. My mom was petrified, the whole family didnt believe us. So we quietly saved money and then left one day. To this day, he plays the victim. Not everything is as it seems.

Gaslighting is real. Blaming the victim is real. Society has been slow to acknowledge the sins of abusers nevertheless address the fallout. So, when a person has to take upon themselves to escape, the backseat drivers always seem to have some sort of b/s expert opinion. 🤔

I didn't realize that this was happening often. This happened to me after 23 years of marriage. I got treated like a piece of garbage in court. Lost 1/2 my 401k, house, all the money she stole from me in 4 years. Have to pay alimony for 5 years. Plus, child support, which is fine if it was really for my son, because I buy him the things he needs daily. I wanted 50/50 custody, got on 30, and she got 70, so child support would still be enough to cover her rent, and on top of that she only makes 15000 less a year than I do, and women are wondering why men won't date them anymore. We are tired of losing all we worked hard for overnight because she feels bored with her life.

Yep, happened to me many years ago; was in what I thought was a good relationship with a woman for over six years when she literally walked out of my life one day without any prior warning. Turned out that she had been seduced by some guy over several months who was younger, taller, better looking and supposedly richer than myself and she monkey-branched off to him without a second thought. Unfortunately for her, the dude turned out to actually be broke (he was a hopeless gambling addict and an alcoholic) and a narcissistic sociopath who took total control of her life & finances and treated her like shit; oh, and he knocked her-up too while he was at it. Of course it was then apparently all my fault for "driving her away" & into this loser's waiting arms according to her female friends (the very same friends who had evidently encouraged her to leave me in the first place in order to move up to a "better prospect"), who then contacted me repeatedly demanding that I "rescue her" from this dude and take her back [along with her new infant]. I respectfully declined, and have never looked back.

I've hardly ever heard a woman admit fault or apologize
@Alex-fn6pz
@Alex-fn6pz Ай бұрын
Me either. Just last week I emailed the love of my life. I'm 32 now, she's 35, we've been apart for almost 7 years. I was by no means trying to get her back or anything. I had a bad night, and a lot of old memories came up. So I contacted her, told her I hope she's doing well, and apologized for any negative impact I may have had on her life. The thing is, we both made mistakes and there was a lot of turmoil in that relationship. Plenty of blame to go around, but ultimately I left because I couldn't trust her. Too much to explain but she was really shady about a lot of things, including the other guys in her life at the time. She responded saying how she thinks of me every single day, and it drives her mad, etc. but no hard feelings. She also said "I just don't understand why you couldn't trust me." It's worth noting that she has contacted me saying these same things a few times over the years. Anyway, I saw it the next morning and eventually decided to respond and explain my side of everything. Most of it was explaining what my childhood was like, and how it affects me as an adult. It was an attempt to help her understand why I was so guarded, and why I have trust issues. I've never told anyone the things I told her. I basically laid my soul bare to her, and told her she's better off without me in her life. I meant every word of it. However, I made one comment about her not giving me a whole lot of reason to trust her, because of those other guys, and the things she kept from me. I tried to be as neutral as possible, because it wasn't my goal to hurt her over it. I just felt that if I'm going to bare my soul to her and apologize for everything, it's fair enough to point out that she wasn't 100% innocent either. She ignored everything but that one statement, and responded with "Well, I don't think my character was played out correctly, here. I hope you find your happiness." Believe me when I didn't expect any apologies from her, but it just goes to show that women would rather take it to their grave than admit any wrong-doing.

Just a little disclaimer to the guys out there: if a woman stops nagging, complaining, trying to help you, she stops talking and sharing stuff with you... And this goes on for months, she is sure as hell planning to get away. Not all women go through with it, that's the thing. 90% of women have an extra spot for saving money that you'll never know of, they have a back up person if they decide to leave (could be a friend, family member or an extra person on the side), they might've even tried to go but stopped themselves before you found out. If your woman is quiet, there is quite possibly a storm brewing somewhere.

@@shantaywicklander4773Women are incapable of receiving criticism or even being accountable for a mistake. But let her tell a man he's doing something wrong, he'd better fix it or there'll be consequences. No matter how carefully a man tries to bring up an issue, 80% of women will immediately *Feel* attacked & go on the attack back, denial, projection, kitchen sinking, rehashing old arguments, then it gets personal attacking vulnerabilities they've observed. The piéce de résistance is when she hits him with something painful he's shared in confidence bc she demanded he open up & be more vulnerable to her. Then by the light of burning bridges she demands he apologizes for upsetting her & demands he admits he was wrong. Men learn not to try & improve Thier marriage & learn to tolerate the negatives bc it's not worth an inevitable fight. They also learn never trust women with thier personal demons, they'll get weaponised against them. Women don't realise men emotionally lose trust & it's a hit against the love he feels. Women can't own they have sown the seeds for thier own unhappiness. Marriage works thru reciprocation. Men stop reciprocating or initiating once they can't trust thier supposed partner. Women feel the distance, but don't realise or refuse to admit THEY caused it. This is a major source of marital failure. It means genuine communication has broken down when one party can't be honest with the other.

There are multiple ways that a woman can feel unsafe, psychologically manipulated, restricted, cheated on in their relationship, not just physical abuse. Planning is actually the way a woman decreases the possibility of physical abuse, resulting from a man's tantrum. Men primarily plan so they can leave without feeling guilty because they're going to another woman. I hope this scenario never happens to this young woman.

Have a friend whose wife spent TWO years setting him up. Comes home on a Friday night. No dinner (she is a stay at home mom and cooked every night). He asks what's up? She starts a screaming match. Starts hitting him. Starts yelling loud enough for the neighbors to hear. Picks up a pan to hit him with, he shoves her. She calls the cops, claims domestic violence. She gets an emergency restraining order. During the 48 hours he's out of the house she packs his stuff, files for divorce Monday morning. She steals a rifle from the house and stashes it with a relative. Comes time for the divorce case. She states physical abuse as the reason. Pulls out a shoebox holding pics of her kids with cuts, scrapes and bruises. Said he did it. These pics were from injuries kids got on the playground, falling off a bike, fights with other kids, etc. He never laid a hand on them. Judge never interviewed the kids. Found in her favor, and of course visits with the kids were supervised. Her lawyer even got the judge to waive the theft of the rifle claiming he would shoot her if given the chance so she was protecting herself. Think he'll ever get married again?

I was in the military and also a military spouse. I've seen it from both sides. I've seen people cheating while we were deployed and come back acting like they missed their spouses. I've also seen wives cheating on their husbands and I had the flight manifest knowing when their spouses were coming back. Let them cheat right up until they were caught by their returning spouse. It goes both ways sometimes. It's never right, but if you know you have problems communicate it to your spouse. I know firsthand, I begged him to go to couples counselling. He refused. Meanwhile he had other women, etc., I divorced him and now he's married to the other woman. Faithfully? It doesn't matter because I'm single and at peace.

@@donnagrimm2179 I will say a few things. 1. In other countries, there are many men who have multiple wives/concubines, so for a man to have multiple women it isn't unknown. 2. I think that being in war, fighting for your life, and then finding love in another country, believing you might not make it home... Is different from being a spouse who stays at home and then cheats at their spouse while the spouse is busy fighting in war. I think that it doesn't matter if you are a male or woman, you still want companionship and want to RELEASE SOME STRESS while FIGHTING FOR YOUR LIFE. That being said, many people aren't really "fighting" these days, and their "tours" are just going overseas or doing some patrol and then coming home, while still cheating. I still don't think people should be getting together before going off to war.... Unless you do what they did in the past.... leave a child with your wife, because you might not make it home, and at least you will have an offspring. These days women get pregnant with another man's child and make the military dude pay for it.

My dad had a secret baby with someone else after 16 years of marriage with my mum. My mum obviously went mad. She done a few things that were petty, like writing profanity on his music tapes. But she forgave him, and he played my mum and the other woman. My mum had enough and kicked him out. She only asks for money when we actually needed gas or electric or new shoes and she couldnt afford it. She loved my dad. The 2 years of watching her sadness as she tried to heal from the pain made me very, very caucious of men growing up. She never stopped him seeing us once, and i was old enough to know he was the one who didn't want to make the effort. A year of weekends of hearing his excuse as to why he can't come and see us. He did eventually start seeing us again, and spent time with us. But one thing i learnt from my mum, is to never use a child for a gain when you are hurt. She did the best she could even though her childhood sweetheart left her for a 25 year old. That woman he cheated on my mum with and had a kid with, she upped and dissapeared with his son and hasnt contacted him since. Its been 13 years and we have no idea where he is. Meanwhile, his wife has had to sell the house she got in the divorce because she just spent recklesy as well as taking out loans against it to fund her lifestyle. She even had the audacity to hire a lawyer to try and get money from him - for some strange reason the judge threw her claim out in no more than 20 minutes in court. I think most of them do it out of fear thinking the guy will snap if he's given proper notice or just make things as difficult and uncomfortable as possible as she's trying to get away. Rarely does a man stay faithful without being forced to. Do you like me generalizing the male population? Well, your comment did the same thing about the female population. It's not about the gender, it's the quality of the person's character. There are both bad apples of both genders but a high person will not attribute bad qualities of a person to the entire gender. You should work on yourself because you are not a high quality person.

@@pamlovell5628 In truth I read that first statement and it went right under the radar, lost in the background noise of the usual generalizations I hear about men. My X wife did the exact same thing. She rented apartment, moved most of our things gradually over months, enrolled the kids into a school in her new neighborhood, and left me. I lost my money, half of my retirement for lawyers, paid her more than half of my net income as child support, courts believed every lie she told them about me. After long painful painful struggles, lost time and money, I finally got 50/50 joint custody. There are many good mothers and loving and honerable women out there. However, the system is not just unfair, but it encourages those opportunist women who use it to victimize good hardworking men.

You are correct. As a survivor it is incredibly offensive to hear women receive praise for deceit like that. It makes it hard on survivors. When these types of women do these things it hurts the validity of why we, IF we can (most of us cannot), actually do do these things. We are saving our lives and possibly children. I was unable to prep for my departure. I even had to wait months to go back and sneak into my own home to rescue mine and my children’s cat. Survivors aren’t hiding for self serving reasons. Don’t call yourself a hero for being selfish.

Just so happened to be the day after her daughters last cheer competition of the season. at least that is a $600 in payments I no longer have to fork over. Now she needs to take the car loans out of my name. If custody is 50/50, she wont get child support and I will able to save sooooo much money again. But hey, she always thought I was hiding money from her.

There are a few such couples. The media provides medical findings that 50% of husbands ... not partners ... are happy. There are additional conclusions of the 50% ... only 10% are not on medication. Do the math ... which is not fuzzy. Additional results are women can multitask ... thanks to brain wiring ... oops this results for a woman not ever being happy ... for richer or poorer until death of life as they understand.

My ex made false accusations on me during COVID. It stole all our constitutional rights so no trials, no depos, no speedy, etc. only way out was to plea guilty. I got out and DCF gave me my daughter for 6 months bc she hadn't done what she was supposed to do. After that she got 50/50. My daughter would tell me they were trying to get her to lie about me. Next thing you know her and her family made false molestation accusations on me, trying to have me put in prison for life as a chomo! My daughter didn't lie for her and I was cleared. When school started, we were still waiting on court to determine if our daughter would live w me in Orlando or her in Tampa. She ended up stealing her and putting her in school, alienating me, etc. it's still considered 50/50 but my daughter lives with me now and goes to school here. Her mom gets 3 weekends a month and holidays/ summer. I guess all's well that ends well but that woman put me through hell and is literally Satan.
