I unironically love how so many of your videos start off about something horror-related and then it somehow concludes with “you know what’s just fantastic? Trees. Look at this tree. Isn’t it great?” 😂😂 Your videos are like coming home to a warm cup of tea after a long, tough day and I love it ☺️ I definitely relate to the “feeling like Frankenstein’s monster” thing having grown up with undiagnosed autism (I wasn’t diagnosed until I was 20). I was always the “weird kid,” but I’ve had a very interesting life because of it ✌️😁

I love hearing someone from a different generation explain the same type of feelings I had at similar points of my life. I was the weird kid and ironically was really into the Frankenstein story and Monster High was a show that really helped me feel like my weird and "freaky" was cool and just part of myself. Especially since I have dermatillomania so my picking and scratching has resulted in a lot of scars

I love how much you talk about trees. I live in rural Mississippi, and we have some beautiful woods here, but they aren't valued by most people. Logging is a pretty big thing here. I get we need paper and building materials and such, but it's still heartbreaking to see them be cut down. We need more tree-huggers in the world

Thank you for this. I've been struggling seeing my use lately as a weirdo but it's okay. Everyone makes their own way and use in this world. How we make others feel when we smile or show them an old horror movie or a song and they just get it. It means a lot. It doesn't have to be some big acceptance or group of people who love you. Just to have a few good people who truly see you and love you are enough. Having a few people see me for who I am and love me is enough for me. I've never had a problem being an outsider. Just a problem understanding how people could like me. Frankenstein's monster and I have a lot in common. Frankenstein was one of the first horror movies I cried about when I was a kid.

Well said, i can absolutely relate to tyhis, i think many of us here can. I thnk we once envolved around the tress and the forest, living with no connection to mother nature is not what we are built for and it cause a lot of mental illness among people whan we loose this connection to nature. (I think i was a weird kid because i newer got scared of anything, but i newer liked goore movies, but still in love with those old black and white classic horror movies and well made horror comedies, like Young Frankensten and the Addams family, etc but i think that has to do with excactly this, those carracters are not actualy evil, they are just missunderstood by the others, but we as the wiewer knew that they are actualy the direct opposite of what people think they are. 🙂)
@chriswingerTV2 ай бұрын
Yeah, Frankenstein has always been a good example of a sympathetic horror villain. Then there are villains like Michael Myers who are just evil, and that's cool too I guess 😆
@sheep1ewe2 ай бұрын
@@chriswingerTV Yes, i guess those evil carracters is a reflection of the darker parts of the human psyce, those parts we are not supposed to expose and make us uncomfortable thinking about in daily life, but it give some weird relief i guess when one have that distacne to carracter. I love Pyrmidhead for the same reason, one want to be like him, but not actualy go out and do all the things he do, and a lot of things would obviously be wrong, not only moraly, but mainly because it would be irreversible actions, if one would put it into the complexity of real life, but a fictional carracter can do whatever he want without those limitations.
@sheep1ewe2 ай бұрын
@@chriswingerTV I realised my previous post was very strange, i think i ment the classic werewolf and the thin border between man and beast as it is illustrated in old folklore, but those are not inhertianly evil, actualy evil carracters like what i think You ment here, i think triggers different parts of the brain, the feeling of awake and alive, like knowing there is a bear or pack of wolfs around in the forest.
