To me it depends on how the menus are designed and how often I have to use them. I have a Wersi Prisma organ that has a coin-sized display (no words can be spelled in full) and three buttons (one of them a scroll that only goes in one direction) for selecting too many functions. Luckily most of the 'daily' functions has dedicated buttons so most of the time I don't have to use the menu. My Technics EA-5 organ uses the menu for pretty much everything because too many functions and too few buttons. The organ sounds great but I hate the user interface! My Elka X-1000 is probably the one I like best of my organs with menus: Most of the time I don't have to use it because there are buttons for most functions and still the menu is easy to navigate and has a two line screen in reasonable length - most words are spelled fully.

@@organfairy you have interesting organs. I like the X-1000 approach too.

I don't like the menus, either. And I hate touchscreen controls in the car that respond poorly. Never had trouble with actual dials and buttons. I know I sound like an old curmudgeon. I guess I am one.
