I tint every car I've owned. Helps a lot in Phoenix's summer and I enjoy the privacy / blacked out look. On my refresh M3 LR I tinted all the windows including back glass limo tint , 70 percent on windshield with limo strip on top. I also got sun shades for the roof they have helped a lot especially since I never was into sun / moon roofs

Couldn’t you argue that if they can see what’s inside and there’s nothing to steal, they’re less likely to break in? I see cars leaving their trunks open in San Francisco for this reason.

Chris - how much did you get charged. Any discount code? Did you get yours wrapped? I noticed there is clear wrap which I am tempted based on all this talk about finger prints and not being able to clean dirt easily.

That’s the first I’ve seen that camera housing is removed when tinting windshield. What’s the advantage of doing this?

Chris I love your videos but have some questions about your scientific method. You tested the Cybertruck stock glass out in the sunlight. Then you tested a totally different vehicle inside. Wouldn't it be much more accurate if you did the test on the same window before and after in the same environment? I am guessing the device uses its own light source for the test but outside sunlight could be a factor. But with all this said, it's great to know that stock Cybertruck provides a lot of protection without tint. My kiddos will be safe in the back and will give me some extra time to decide on what tint I want if any. Thanks again for the great video!

Oh that was just for measurement so inside or outside doesn’t matter. The real test was the infrared bulb. Haha

I personally prefer 30-30% on the front driver/passenger windows because I drive in the night a lot. The 15% makes it a bit harder to see when you need to check through your side view mirrors.

Depends where you go but for the xpel ceramic it was over 1k for all the windows. Most expensive was the windshield

It is not cheap MY windshield was $400 for Xpel 75% nano ceramic. Well worth it in CA
