Do you keep failing your theory test by one? This is why. This video is for all of you who keep taking your theory test and or your mock tests and keep failing by one mark.
I'll explain why you are doing this and how to break out of it and pass on the next go.
If you find yourself getting 42 out of 50 and saying I just missed it by one, that's where you're going wrong. Once you say this, you have told yourself you only need one to pass, so you book another test straight away and then fail again.

You got eight questions wrong, which means there needs to be more in your knowledge. If you break it down, you got eight questions wrong in at least five categories or more, which means over a third of the categories you don't know, hence failing the test.
Study the categories you're weak in and then book another test. This will give you the best chance of passing your theory next time out.
I recommend watching driving lessons video's on KZbin; I'm a big believer in visual content, as visualisation is vastly underrated. I recommend that you have a few driving lessons in the area you will have your driving test, regardless of which DVSA driving test centre you use.
With the waiting time for the driving test at its all-time high, you need to stack the cards in your favour to give you the best possible chance of passing.

After failing my theory two to three times (all by one mark), then finding this video of yours, and subsequently all your "study with me" videos, I had gone from scraping a 42 out of 50 every time, to getting ONLY TWO QUESTIONS WRONG and finally passing my theory test today! I was always good at the hazard perception, it was always the multiple choice that always caught me out. I just wanted to say thank you so much! You really helped me actually understand the theory, as well as develop a better attitude on sitting the test and getting what they were looking for in my answers. You are a lifesaver!

I got told by an old driving instructor that they can only pass so many people a day and that's why when you fail its consistently just shy one or two marks, and that's also why they don't give you your incorrect answers at the end, just the category.

Nah, not buying that it would be illegal and not worth the risk of being shut down as an institution. I passed my motorcycle theory 4 days ago and as I drove my car out of my road to the test centre I said to myself "Right when I pass this soon I am going to get a big bike in 6 months from now and it's gonna be fantastic". You need a mind shift change to speak a PASS into existence. Tell yourself you are going to pass....you will pass. I never saw this YT upload until now, but I did see Jim Carey (from Mask, Dumb and Dumber etc) and he said same thing. Speak it into existence and the universe will provide it to you. Don't ask how or why, just say positive things that you want or want to achieve. All I can say is no BS it worked for me and I never read a highway code book in my life, not even when I passed my car theory test 👍

Hi Royal Sasee, sorry to hear that you failed. You have commented on the video failed by one, and you've done exactly what the video says not to do. Which is book another test straight away. Follow the advice in the video, study the categories, which you got wrong. When you are passing the categories then do 50 question mock test and only when your passing consistently book your theory test. Your just going to get the same result on the 5th of May if you don't follow the advice. Did you get 5 or more categories wrong?

I’m sorry to hear that you failed. It will hurt for a while. Get back on it as soon as you can. Start by looking at the categories you got wrong and go from there. Mondays I do a live bring your questions and I’ll answer them there.

I passed my theory test at first time sitting on sat 18th Feb 2023 scoring 49/50 on Multiple Choice questions and scoring 59/75 on Hazard Perception test! 10 days of solid hard work paid off along with completing practice questions, doing over 100 mock tests and understanding the essence of identifying hazard perceptions on many occasions! Great video regarding those who unfortunately do not achieve the passing criteria in the test! For me i think the theory test , people fail to recognise that there is a lot of logical answers to the questions provided however not being able to answer in a pressurised time environment is what unfortunately the downfall is. The actual test itself is not difficult, just make sure you know all the main concepts of each particular topic related to driving and when you do the questions in multiple choice always answer them by using the elimination approach! Good luck to those preparing and studying for it!
