The machines and tools and other tips that you can give being such an experienced slingshot maker and user will help some of us start with it. Thank you regardless. One of my favourite channels.

Hi Joerg! I want to build my first slingshot out of wood, but I'm afraid it will break and I'll slingshot myself in the face and get hurt. I saw on another video you made a slingshot by crossing the grain and gluing it all together to sort of make a plywood. Do you have any suggestions for what wood I can use and how to choose it to make a strong and safe slingshot?
@dnichl6 ай бұрын
ive seen you make plenty of slingshots with just that tiny belt sander! but have you tried with a rotary tool with a carbide burr? ive found its great for roughing and hogging out the material quickly before fine tuning with a sander. plus it makes chips instead of sawdust.

It’s quite beautiful as well as functional. Good ergonomics has a beauty of its own. Another channel (Screws And Tools) does restorations of various things like swords, often with wooden grips. He mixes sawdust with epoxy which can blend perfectly with the surrounding wood. It won’t accept oil of course but its shine also blends with the oiled wood around it.
