@@TrailTraveler im not sure if i agree with that. The night i was using mine it was a little windy and the flames were blowing everywhere. Even to the point that the gas line was turning black at the spout due to the flames pouring over in that direction.

@@overlandvan8833 YMMV I suppose. Built one of these out of a 50 cal box we had sitting around and it worked out well for our use. It is also a real space saver over the large 20 inch propane pit we had.

Put one of the aluminum or metal 3 piece wind breaks around it and you will see a huge increase in the heat output. It will heat the deflector and direct the heat towards you.
