Very true , I was attacked by a private security guard (doorman ) The door man called the police saying I called him a monkey after he attacked me , I was arrested and interviewed for section 4 racial abuse … I explained to the duty solicitor that I absolutely had not called him a monkey nor was I racist towards the doorman ,, before the police interview the duty solicitor advised me to say “ I might have said I don’t give a monkeys what the doorman said “” Wasn’t till I was released how corrupt that solicitor actually is, I didn’t even say what the solicitor told me to say .. but I stil said it out of fear of being charged for a crime I DID NOT commit

The DUTY lawer is in the polices pocket get a lawyer it costs money but a lot less than using the duty guy

Why cannot a experienced solictor be a Duty Solicitor ?

I’d suggest contacting a criminal defence solicitor right away and asking if they’d accept a payment plan you can afford. It gives them a good incentive to keep you out of jail! :)

I had both not u but one firm wanted to represent me and the other where I was from they could see police stitched me up

@@markhonea2461 got pulled by the police years ago now no reason at all they dreamt up it was burglary by time I go to station yet never asked me one question about it had the local solicitors then when got home 2 hours away had my a firm near me represent me but the others wanted to represent me aswell also signed so university people can study the case had a barrister from London aawel almost got 2 years in jail for a knife which was a work tool.

@@stevem7250 I see. Yes, we are all at risk from these thugs. I am happy to hear they didn't get away with it. I can honestly say, the cops in my area are pretty tame. Mostly just traffic tickets. I did get an unjust speeding ticket once, when I know I wasn't speeding, and got the fine reduced to 85 dollars court costs only. Still, the cop was lying.😠
