A couple of things that maybe aren't initially obvious about ebikes that I've come to really enjoy. Easier hill starts makes me less grumpy when I have to stop to let a car go past on a steep hill. You can use a lower cadence when climbing over roots and rocks which makes you more stable and safer. But in the winter the thing I figured out is you I choose to get way less sweaty and breathe a bit less ice cold air by using a higher power mode. Combine that with being able to go a bit further in a limited amount of time/daylight and my ebike has become my favorite winter bike. It's great you can rent though!

I have 5 traditional bikes and 1 ebike. They each have a place and time. It is nice to have choices

I purchased a Decathlon est100 almost two years ago now and it was a brilliant way to get back into cycling again. It enabled me to ride my local roads (Yorkshire dales) with relative ease. As my fitness improved after around a year in I returned to my road bike and have steadily been getting stronger and fitter. I still use my electric bike on those occasions my body and muscles are very sore but am still eager to get some fresh air on my bike. I call it the perfect zone 2 bike........ Still a damned good work out as I like to push past the 15.5mph limit but without the low end power and exertion needed on the climbs. I'd say it's nice to have both.......

This made me miss my E-MTB. Maybe in the future another one will appear in the fleet ❤ loving the audio on the mic matey

Love my eMTB...it allows me to go harder for longer... I'm from Suffolk which is relatively flat but love the trails in Wales, which on my old MTB proved very difficult, my lightweight eMTB now allows me to enjoy what Wales has to offer whilst still getting a workout...no brainer 👊🏻

Im considering a speed pedelec for commuting over a car. and its honestly still a good ride for like a shakeout ride. You have a built in powermeter on the new trek speed pedelecs so you can still do intervals if needed 😂

Dalby Forrest is the one near Scarborough although it’s probably closer to Whitby than Scarborough
