Just wondering.... Should you pick h265 as a default codec as it is suppose to give you 50% more efficiency with regards to data in the compressed video? Why would you select h264 anymore unless your hardware/software cannot handle h265? Great video and thank you for sharing.
@TECHDRONEMEDIA6 жыл бұрын
if your computer is powerful enough you should properly only do H.265, but many experience choppy playback, so H264 is a better option.

This video was very well done. I just got my Mavic Pro 2 in January and am learning all about ND Filters and such to make my videos even better. The only thing that would've made this video a little better is if screenshots had been left up for a bit longer (3-5 seconds) -- I found myself hitting pause and rewinding several times to study the screenshots. But still, great video and excellent tips.

Thanks! Just got a M2P this week and bought a set of f.stop ND polarized filters (4, 8, 16). I was wondering how to (a) install it and (b) how to choose which # to use. Thank you for a very clear explanation.
@YellowRoseDrones5 жыл бұрын
Flew the M2P today, sunny & 90F, without a filter at first. Over exposed. Wore a nitrile medical glove while removing the original lens (to prevent finger prints) and then installed a ND16PL filter. Huge difference in picture quality. Need more practice flying & using this drone. Today was it's maiden flight for me. I'll post some footage later on KZbin under my account, LBESING.

FREEWELL SHOULD PAY YOU FOR THIS VIDEO! Very informative. I mean, every single statement you made makes sense. I will save this video as I need to check on it every now and then. Thanks a lot. I have never seen someone review the CPL filter. Could you do that? Is this set the new and updated set? Can one leave this filter on and still be able to put the gimbal on? I heard there was a fitment problem.
@FreewellGear6 жыл бұрын
Hey , We just have 1 set their is no new or any updated set , You can leave all Freewell filter before putting the drone on. Since Mavic 2 Filters has new mechanism of installation some users are finding difficult at first as you need to have some time to get used to it which is not filter issue. if you need any help pls feel free to contact us at care@freewellgear.com we did be happy to explain you with video about installation process.

Tx for ND Filter Tutorial, why my movies by yaw moving so jerky?
@TECHDRONEMEDIA5 жыл бұрын
Yaw is very difficult because the camera is moving very fast. I can smooth that either unless you move really slow

How would you adjust zoom 2 light? As we can not adjust aperture.
@TECHDRONEMEDIA5 жыл бұрын
you need ND filters for that
@sotirissotiriadis35215 жыл бұрын
@@TECHDRONEMEDIA What ND Filters would you recommend? Also, How will it work? Since ND lights will darken the view, therefore, I don't have any option such as aperture to control the light. Should I use ISO to control the light? or use lighter ND filters?
@luigibarbonetti66066 жыл бұрын
Am i the only one who think that the footage taken without filters is better than the one with filters? Do we really need that "motion blurry" in our videos? I don't think so. Filters are mandatory only for long exposure photos other than that it's better to keep our money in our pockets, imho. Great video btw.

What if, we want to set aperture on 2.5
@cuuppaajoe3 жыл бұрын
I’m sorry but I just don’t understand why an ND filter would be needed on a drone. Of course I do understand motion blur and why it looks much better with the correct shutter speed,. However when you’re that far away from the subject which is usually not moving very fast at all, why would motion blur be an issue? Everything is moving so slowly that it doesn’t change the look. That’s why I just rely on my aperture when I can...thanks as always for great video!
@TECHDRONEMEDIA3 жыл бұрын
You are right motion need to present for it to make sense :-) like wind turbines or flying close to the ground

I now I'm late to this video, but I have a dumb question. While I understand motion blur and doubling the frame rate, I don't fully understand why this is important from the sky? The images are so far and no one will see the difference right? Just wondering why people invest in ND filters when you're a hundred feet away from the subject. If anything, the sharp moving images are better from far. Motion blur is not beneficial if the subject is small. Just my 2 cents. I know I'm wrong, just not sure why. lol. Thanks.
@TECHDRONEMEDIA3 жыл бұрын
You are not wrong :-) you only benefit if there is motion in the picture
