Do you need glue grease sticky spray on the back of the brake pads ?

I have a Subaru Outback working on. On the 3rd reman caliper. When coming to a stop, then restart there is a clunk. The brake pads are clunking in the bracket, loose. I am thinking New caliper as opposed to reman would fix this. Had Acebono pads, then Wagner OEX.

I hate watching people dabbing lube up everywhere. Just do the proper clean up of corrosion, lube the pins, and you’re good. Wow, never heard anyone else bring up the newer pads needing the outside edge knocked down. Good on you. People go crazy u ask if they need help they say no and they’re either trying to exchange pads or grind more of the bracket off. Very rarely given tip.
