Do you Need Real Estate License to Invest in Real Estate? Part 1

Me and my 2 partners are looking to buy our first investment. We were going to go for something out of state but still within about a 20 hour drive of where we live. Any tips or suggestions?

@@BePolite yes we did but we ended up going local and are owner managing the property at the moment which I am not a fan of. I think the next one will be out of state for sure.

@@gilmore25967 good stuff. Where are y'all located? What types of properties are you looking for? Location? Price point? Number of units?

@@BePolite we are in northern Nevada area. We primarily like multi family properties so minimum 2 units. Location isn't a big deal, nationwide is fine so long as it's a good city with a good ROI. We want to sell our current one we are owner managing and get some properties out of state. Where we live it's very remote and ROI isn't the best. I also hate that I have to see people that have been evicted in the place that I live. It makes things very awkward!

Anyone investing in Real Estate needs to be very careful. You can make a lot of money quick BUT you can lose a lot of money just as quick. Have everything lined up before you start a project time is money. You don't need a license but if get a license you save a lot of money.
