It's the defining of Spiritual (Harmony, Allowing, Non Judgemental) vs Religion (Dogmatic, Ideology, often Judgemental). Key is the Ego,( Ego Mind, aka Lower Mind, aka Adolescent Mind) Buddhists are known as either "being in the practice of", or "practicing as a Religion", the same applies to Yeshua/Jesus, whom never practiced the Christian Religion, rather he was practicing Judaism with a higher understanding of Ancient Knowledge, an understanding of the Universe and the Universal Laws, aka the "Hermetic Principals", in his era.

Religion is a form of initiation into spirituality, some need it indeed depending on how much they identify with their Ego, but is not meant for us to be dependent in religious dogma and doctrines , true spiritual growth takes place outside of religion., religión is divisive. for others like me, at some point religion begins to make no sense, becomes too fundamental , we then start to search and ask for truth… and that’s when magic begins

When it comes to religion, be it Christianity, Islam, Judaism, law of attraction or any other of the worlds 100s of religions, I think of the Eckhart video where he reads from the Toa and when he quotes two different Zen masters. " Do not seek for the truth, merely cease to cherish opinions and cling to ideas".Eckhart reads, and he then explains the Zen masters are not saying don't have opinions and ideas, only not to " Cherish our opinions or cling to our ideas, as if they were the truth. Wonderful wisdom and if only we could all adopt this philosophy, how much more peaceful and enjoyable would this experience be for everyone 🙏🙏🙏🙏

I was already okay with going to church and talking about Jesus to others but I would feel the separation with others. There's the feeling of "I'm good" and others were "bad". That's wrong I admit. I must sound the trumpet of warning! This world is dying for lack of knowledge! (Hosea 4:6) Today, there is a famine for hearing the Word of God! (Amos 8: 11) For the true light to shine in your heart dear reader (friend), please pick up the most published book in the history of mankind, the Bible, while there is time and follow along in the noted text. For as it is written, "To the law and to the testimony (Prophets): if they speak not according to this word, it is because there is no light in them." (Isaiah 8: 20) This is why our world went through the evil of the "dark ages". The false (Catholic) church withheld the written word of God from the people and persecuted those who would try and receive it. Catholicism did this for their own personal gain (money, indulgences) so the people would believe their lie! (1 Timothy 6: 10) For mankind's reconciliation with a righteous God, the Law and Prophets (written Word of our Creator, had to become flesh! (John 1: 1-14) When the Word (authority of God), first came under attack by the enemy in Genesis chapter 3, the Serpent, Lucifer, tempted man to sin causing our "Great Reset", fall from grace (state of childly innocence and belief, obedience, to God) to a state of prideful guilt in disobedience, unbelief! When our parents first believed Satan's lie, they relinquished the authority given of God. We are now experiencing a reset of belief (faith), because of that belief in Satan's lie. The One True Religion (Faith) in our Creator God has splintered into millions upon millions of deities and faiths. Now in that same spirit of disobedience (confusion) God has prepared this, our final generation for the soon coming of AntiChrist. Jesus says, "You serpents, you generation of vipers, how can you escape the damnation of hell?" (Mathew 23:33) -- But "my people shall never be ashamed" (found naked). (Joel 2:27) When heavenly Father soon removes (raptures, takes home to heaven) His espoused, the True Church of Jesus Messiah (2 Corinthians 11: 2), He will send strong delusion upon the world which remains. (2 Thessalonians 2: 11). As that great Wizard (Angel of Light and once covering Cherub 2 Corinthians 11:14, Ezekiel 28: 16) did in Eden with the serpent, Satan will again occupy an earthbound entity (man, AntiChrist 1 John 2: 18-22); AntiChrist will (hypnotize, deceive, inject his lethal venom) into the mind, infecting heart, and finally killing the souls of all those remaining in this world of unbelief. Those who reject the Gospel (Good News): that Father God our Creator has become flesh in Jesus, (Immanuel - God with us) for the propitiation of the sins of the world WILL believe Satan's lie for "he is a lier and father of it". (1 John 2: 1 - 2, John 8: 44) For as it is written, "And though they hide themselves in the top of Carmel, I will search and take them out thence; and though they be hid from my sight in the bottom of the sea, thence will I command the serpent, and he shall bite them:". (Amos 9:4) Because of their rejection of the Holy Spirit, those who remain after the rapture will be bitten (receive his mark. Revelation14: 9-12) According to 1 John 5, "the sin that leads to death is a deliberate refusal to believe in Jesus Christ, to follow God's commands, and to love one's brothers. Why? Because it is an individual's deliberate refusal to believe in the One who alone can give life, Jesus Christ, the Son of God". The unbeliever has condemned himself to hell: a place prepared by God for the Devil and his fallen angels. (Mathew 3: 12, 25: 41, Revelation 12: 4) Jesus Messiah of Nazareth is the only True Religion. Jesus says, "I Am the Way, Truth, and Life." (John 14: 6) If we believe in Jesus, He becomes our "Great Reset" and rebirth in the Holy Spirit. Jesus is our way home to the Father of spirits, our Creator! (John 3: 3, Heb 12:9) So many religions! Everyone has a religion (that person, place, or thing that has become the heart's desire and treasure) where their faith, hope, and love resides and they will worship it religiously! If I have learned one vital lesson from Father God our Creator in this 72 year life span, we are born in sin (John 9: 2,3, 16: 9) with a desperately wicked heart because of our sin tainted flesh. (Jeremiah 17: 9) But the cultivation and harvest of that evil will come from family and community our tribe, just as it did with Eve to Adam in Genesis 3. I am so blessed having been born and raised in a household of love and meekness! Through my parents faith (belief) in Jesus Messiah of Nazareth and His Spirit of Beatitudes, (Mathew 5: 3-7) my faith in God's promise of eternal life; by the grace of God) has led me to such great joy and peace here on earth! I pray for all those born and raised in a household (religion) of evil where disobedience in pride, violence, hatred, racism, and bigotry will lead to eternal death and damnation of soul, without repentance and forgiveness. The faith and patience of the righteous believers in Christ Jesus will judge this evil and adulterous world, as did Noah. For "as the days of Noah were, so shall also the coming of the Son of man be. For as in the days that were before the flood they were eating and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage (continuing in the sin of unbelief) until the day that Noah entered into the ark," to condemn the world that was to an overflow of water. Again, the evidence (outward sign of that evil within Genesis 6: 5) will allow our Righteous Judge and Creator, to destroy this world but this time with an all cleansing fire (Deuteronomy 4: 24, Hebrew 12: 29, Revelation 20: 6 -15. Revelation 21: 1- 27) Having accepted Jesus as my Lord and Saviour, I am born again of His Spirit! (John 3: 5-8) Jesus is now my Ark! (Mathew 24: 37 - 39) God created all things for His pleasure (Revelation 4: 11) but after the "Great Reset" of sin in "The Garden of God", Eden, our righteous Father God intervened by sending His only begotten Son as propitiation for the sin of the world; establishing His ultimate resT from labour and our Sabbath resT forever. (Mathew 12: 8, Exodus 20: 8-11) "For God so loved the world, that He gave His gave only begotten Son, that whosoever believes in Him should not perish, but have everlasting life. For God sent not His Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved. He that believes on Him is not condemned: but he that believes not is condemned already, because he has not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God. And this is the condemnation, that light is come into the world, and men loved darkness rather than light, because their deeds were evil. For every one that does evil hates the light, neither comes to the light, lest his deeds should be reproved." (John 3: 16-20) Jesus said, "It is finished"!!! (John 19: 30) I pray that you may hear what the Spirit is saying to the true church and Bride of Jesus Messiah of Nazareth! (Revelation 2: 7, 11, 17, 29/,3: 6, 13, 22) Amen * * "Pure religion and undefiled before God and the Father is this, To visit the fatherless and widows in their affliction, and to keep himself unspotted from the world" (free from willful and unforgiven sin). (Jas 1: 27)

This very much depends on what one means by religion. According to Vedantin Swami Rama Tirtha religion is absolutely necessary because religion is finding your true Self. Swami Vivekananda said "Religion is Realization." He and his Guru Ramakrishna taught that the various dogmas of religion are like a fence that protects a sapling, but a full grown oak needs no fence. Ramakrishna taught that God, Realization, can be found in all religions. Eckhart Tolle hits the nail on the head when he says religion shouldn't become an ideology. In terms of being peaceful a great example of a Christian is the woman Peace Pilgrim. Gandhi was once asked what he thought about Christianity. He replied that it is a good idea but that should be tried someday. He also said "I like your Christ but not your Christians."

Love Eckhart and this talk is an illustration of why. This moved me as the need for religion was a paradox I was struggling with and he has made it so obvious. A lot of bad are done in the name of religions yet religions are containers for spiritual knowledge through generations and political systems. Eckhart's guideline is simple: if the religion concentrates on the enemy as subjects of hate then that religion is no different from ideologies like communism driven by egoic minds. Otherwise religions are fine. Assumption being that one recognises that no one religion is the true religion. There should be University theses and courses on this talk.

@@VedantaKesari spot on! i think Swami Vivekananda & Eckhart Tolle speak from the same source. Swami V. spoke to many audiences, in many countries & languages, in the west his talks were transcribed by an English stenographer turned disciple, John Goodwin, who's records then became much of what is found in ~the complete works of Swami Vivekananda~ which have that direct spoken feel to them, not unlike when i read the Power of Now, i can hear Tolles voice, & they both stress the importance of direct first hand experience, the immediacy of the mystic, not relying on experts or scholarly "authorities" to translate second hand accounts from dusty old tomes. when i read the complete works, it's as if i can hear Vivekananda speaking. 🙏✋

At the time of Jesus, the land was called Judea (where the word Judaism comes from). The name Palestine was given to it in 135 AD, by the Roman emperor Hadrian, after he squashed the Jewish revolt there against the Roman empire. In order to humiliate and destroy the Jewish people and their faith, he renamed the city of Jerusalem Illia Capitolina, and put a pagan statue of Jupiter in the Temple Mount. He also renamed the land Provincia Palestina (formerly it was known as Provincia Judea), after the bitter enemies of the Jews in Biblical times - the Phillistines.

Once I became aware of myself being consciousness / true self I look at the Christian religion from a different angle. Jesus was a true self. His teachings of the kingdom are about being consciousness , but I can also see what’s false . For example we’re not born sinners. We are soul , the ego is the sinner , Jesus didn’t die to take away our sins. The ego has to die for us to be free

Here in Brazil, Spiritism, which emerged in France in the 19th century, with Kardec, is quite common. And under the influence of my father, I was a spiritist, until I was 19, when I read The Power of Now, by Eckhart Tolle. At that moment, I understood that what really matters is consciousness, mind, non-identification with thoughts and emotions. I understood that I have no way of knowing if Spiritism is true or not. And today I also see how harmful Spiritism is, because it conveys the idea that we go through "trials and atonements", that we have to suffer to "pay" for our mistakes in other incarnations... we start to believe that everything has to do with with spirits, we start to think that we know more than others, that we are superior, because "we know about the existence of the world of spirits" and other people do not... in short, I consider the belief in Spiritism to be very harmful, as well as in other religions. By the way, after I stopped being a spiritist, my father did too.

Having been in the grip of evangelical christianity I know that what Eckhart says is true. The pain body can use ANY system to further itself. I was so "right" and everyone else was so "wrong". When I left christianity I had to release the former religion and people in it from my blame, as it was more of the same I'm "right" they are "wrong" but from the other direction! I was a victim and a perpetrator, through which the dysfunctional ego operated. I'm still strongly attracted to religion but realise the need to handle it with care! Our motivation is so important.

Actually hate is a form of love. It's just a very dense and crude form of love. Think of it as an ice cube which starts at a solid then it melts and it can evaporate and turn into a gas. It's all love. Solid - Hate Liquid - Conventional Love Gas - Divine Infinite Unconditional Love

@@mindsigh4 hi Carl, sorry I've upset you. I have learned so much about the human mind from Eckhart and how we all suffer because we listen to its egotistical fears and anxieties. Eckhart among a small handful of others helped me personally get back to having a much happier peaceful and rational relationship with my own mind, and I am so very grateful for Eckharts and others help in getting better. We are not our minds or the thoughts it produces, is a fact accept taught by Eckhart and accepted by science and philosophers alike, but when Eckhart claims to know what the Universe wants, this is where I myself question Eckhart, because I don't believe he can possibly know what the Universe wants any more than anyone else does , to be fair to Eckhart he quite often states " I believe, but i don't know" before saying something. I am sorry I've upset you Carl, I'm genuinely sharing my own opinions and beliefs and I don't expect you or anyone else to change your opinions and beliefs because of me, but I do believe it's really important to question what others tell us, by simply asking the question " how can you possibly know what you claim to know" what's wrong with that,, everyone is entitled to believe what they choose but no one is entitled to claim a belief they can't prove as a fact, that's dishonest and unkind, and some people can become mentally unwell when others fill their minds with false fearful beliefs, hard core religious people seem to delight in doing, and surely none of us want that suffering for others 🙏🙏🙏🙏. Personally I just think if we clearly state our own beliefs as personal beliefs and only provable facts actual fact it stops anyone getting confused or hurt by peoples words. 🙏🙏🙏🙏

Key is the Ego, ( Ego Mind, aka Lower Mind, aka Adolescent Mind) Buddhists are known as either "being in the practice of", or "practicing as a Religion", *the same applies to Yeshua/Jesus, whom never practiced the Christian Religion, rather he was practicing Judaism with a higher understanding of Ancient Knowledge, an understanding of the Universe and the Universal Laws, aka the "Hermetic Principals", in his era.*

People do not grow spiritually or emotionally without assistance or guidance from others who have been working at it longer. People do not grow in isolation. Religion is not the problem, it is people who isolate themselves and who refuse to listen to wise counsel. They refuse correction, and they believe that they are better than anyone else. The great masters did not get that way by following their subjective feelings and by avoiding others.

This question cannot be answered in a general way that is religion necessary. You can ask yourself, "Is my current religion necessary for me?" If yes, you have to keep it. If no drop it. If you drop it, you might feel the need to replace it with something else, either some other religion or any other sort of structure. If that is the case you have to do so. If that is not the case, no religion or no sort of structure is necessary for you.

explained: Instead of silence, a person matches his speech to the word of God by reciting the Noble Qur’an... where presence is with the very sublime self; God has lost us, and in dialogue with God, we will be exalted and rise to the ranks.... Instead of closing the eyes and concentrating, we turn towards presence with the heart, where the observations are with open eyes, while the spiritual awakening enlightens the insight.... And of course, instead of rigid physical stillness, we do the movements of standing, kneeling, and prostrating to God by remembering God with His most beautiful names and sublime attributes; Thus, beauty, splendor, and perfection are achieved in the human relationship with applied love. This applied love reflects positively on the behavior of a Muslim since puberty (because it is the age in which love must be activated and applied and rationalize the energy of love in a person).

Most people look to someone or something, to find God. You must Know The Eternal source of all personally, that pure Love must be Experienced, our spirit must awaken. People think Scripture's lead us to God. But Like the supposed Savior's,and prophets all are a physical Representations. We must reach God spiritually. The taste of a fruit or the fragrance of a flower cannot be known by reading about them. The fruit must be eaten and the flower smelt. Only in union with the eternal source, spirit communicating with Spirit, can proof of it's reality be found. Yet, because things are as they are, Truth must ever be veiled from man as man. But who would labour, if labourers were paid whether they worked or not? Were they revealed to him, the ignorant man would not comprehend great things, therefore the light is not for him. The insincere and shallow seeker after diversion and pleasure will find little entertainment in these words. The really illuminated man will already know something of the Truth and will therefore seek it more diligently along a higher path. So these words are given just for those sincere seekers who are aware of their own shortcomings and ignorance. These will be people whose thoughts are not smothered by prejudice, who are not set in their opinions. For who among men is the most confirmed in his opinions? Who states things in the most assertive manner and talks with the loudest voice? Is it not the most ignorant? The Eternal source will not let the sincere seeker go unguided. It is the Light on the Path". "Well does the source know the hearts of men, they ever seek to deceive themselves. They clearly see the errors and follies of others but are blind to their own. There are those whose idea of righteousness is mumbled words and repetitious prayers. Their souls are warped with selfish desires and their Heaven is the fulfilment of these. Their prayers are pleas for pleasure or power, for freedom from the things which develop the spirit. The lovers of pleasure and power delight in following the path of their own inclinations, they build a creed of their own desires. They have neither courage nor the will to follow a sterner and true path. Avoid the companionship of such as these, setting your heart upon the task in hand rather than the reward. The Source is all knowing, and does all the Rewarding. For what one sow's that shall they also reap. One of the eternal laws.

Carl I'm truly happy for anyone anywhere to believe whatever they personally choose to believe and if they truly believe they know the unknowable that's fine by me, I don't wish to burst anyone's personally bubble. I just don't believe it's right mortally right or fair to claim to other people you have an ability or know the unknowable unless you can genuinely prove it. It's really simple just clearly state what we believe as a belief, and only what we can genuinely prove as a fact. Don't we need to learn this stuff for ourselves, through our own observation and enquiry? How many people have become enlightened through teaching? I know of few: one or two, if that, out of many. They became enlightened through their own dramatic life experiences or by becoming a light unto themselves. Buddhists have taught 'presence' for 2,500 years, and how many have become enlightened through it? Yet the Buddha became enlightened by learning about the world and the inadequacy of all extant practices. He found his own way. Surely human dignity demands that you teach the same thing - to quote Sri Aurobindo: "The first principle of true teaching is that nothing can be taught".

Of course you will be quick to deny it and that was not what you meant, and you don't profess to any one religion and are in tune with the universe and awake, consider this: The smirk on your face and the words that come out of your mouth are not your own. These words that your read are not mine. The collision of light and sound that occurs hence, has been set in motion at the dawn of the universe to arrive at this moment not as an act of random, but predestination. While prayer in the religion of Islam, the religion of love, is something else and with other tastes...
