All coach Christians videos are great but I particularly love all his videos on carbohydrates, cortisol and adrenaline and Nuero types. This video is so relatable and makes so much sense and obviously facts he is sharing. I'm all my research looking for answers about carbs and training his are far and above better than anything else I found! Thanks again Coach Christian!

Great and thorough explanation of this question. So many try to make carbs the enemy when that have no idea how important they are. “Carbs are a tool”.

So well explained! I remember years ago when I tried to decrease my carbs intake while maintaining the same training intensity, I felt stressed and had a bad temper...

These videos are excellent. I do have feeling like I am there, listeninig Thibadeau live! Very very good orator (and excellent video director). Also, very good information-not that I didn't knew it before, but becuase of Thibadeau's speech I'll remember it and recall when it matters.

Actually, that's a good point. The way the brain works to form memory is that it attributes greater importance to memories of things that happened with a higher emotional load. When a memory is given more important it is indeed easier to recall and make connections with it. My goal when I present it to create such an emotional response (hence the tone, speech intensity variation, pauses, etc.). It took a lot of work, especially because English is not my primary language (as you can easily see). It's not just a matter of words and accent either; French and English have completely different speech timing patterns and syllable emphasis.

@@THIBARMY Your english is perfect, for me, becuase of that (not native language). Iam from Europe, Croatia, and it's easier to me to listen somebody who speaks conciously, not automatically. What I mean by that speaking conciously triggers awareness in a person that is on receveing end. Also, the emotional part is so true: seeing someone who uses emotion on purpose is rare - we see it often with politicians , for example, but they are ussually lying so it sounds artificial. Thanks for a lecture and good conversation

@@nevenmajstor Very interesting. I do present a lot in non-english countries (been to Croatia, Slovenia, Poland, Germany, Netherlands, Hong Kong, Singapour, etc.) and they often make the same comment: they understand me better than a native english speaker.

Sir Christian,if i have insulin resistance problem, how can i get my carb intake? Because you said "if you have insulin resistance, maybe you shouldnt eat evening for GH" so the otherside Carbs make relaxing, for better sleeping.. And when i eat carb low gi or not i feel always sleepy, for that reason i dont wanna eat carbs morning or lunch. So what should i do ?
