Exactly brother! You almost have to learn an entirely different level when speaking to managers and c level executives on technical subjects! I've definitely struggled in the past in that regard!

This is what I do in the agile space. Def learn agile and DevSecOps for ninching down! Also start networking heavily and get involved w/ every relevant community of practice you can. At your workplace and outside of it.

I'd say to go for it! There are many individuals in the field with no degrees who are waaayyy more accomplished and skilled in cybersecurity.
