It is true that it is difficult to prevent ourselves from being hurt by someone who really knows how to. However, the vast majority of the people who are attacked on the internet do not take much care for privacy nor they take proper security measures, which makes them much more vulnerable and attracks the attention of hackers. Furthermore, if we do not protect ourselves anyone will be able to hurt us, even if they have a really basic knowledge.
