Welll… ow I know how I’m gonna lower my truck. Awesome work man. I’m currently redoing my links on my Tacoma. Was gonna lift the motor an inch to get a little lower. This seems like a lot less work!

I can see this inspiring a whole bunch of unqualified people to do some pretty shady shit then throw it on the road…

I think you overestimate my influence on people lol. Lots of hack jobs out there already (some of them "professionals") putting questionable stuff on the road. If anything I hope that people see what I'm doing and learn to build safer

Couldn't you have gone with a solid bar??
@WebWheeler2 жыл бұрын
Yeah you could- the strength is almost the same as sleeving the OD, except that it adds about 5 extra pounds of weight. Not a big deal on most cases, more just about what material you have available haha

Dude I really enjoy your videos. I was watching one last night thinking you might be done making them. Also that's a huge strength increase without even adding too much weight.

Thanks so much for the support! Yeah looking back at my uploads I can't believe it had been so long haha. Channel will keep on going! Lots of life happening in the last year haha but I'm dedicated to improving the channel with more frequent and high quality uploads moving forward. Thanks again for watching- really appreciate it! 👍

Do you have an engineering background? Your thought process is amazing. Your welds look very good. And the flex is unbelievable. Can't wait for the next one.

Thank you for the good words! Engineering background is a good way to put it haha. I have a bachelor's in industrial technology and manufacturing which is sort of an engineering degree haha. It substitutes higher level mechanical engineering concepts for more focus on manufacturing methods and optimization. My day job is 3d mechanical design using Solidworks though. Thanks for watching!
