At this point, I'd be happy to just have one. 😂😂😂

I taught my son to do 3 things 1. To attack 2. To counter 3. To sacrifice Pick a few techniques he like and train it well. Train to chain techniques to get into your favorite throws. Train the grips and so on.

someone likened it to a tree structure. the main branch is your main technique and the branches are the entries and variations. the more branches the better. I cannot remember whom to credit but i wanna say jimmy pedro. I could be wrong.

Very good advice 💯 when ppl say need 2-3 throws, guess they really mean practice and master 2-3 go to throws rather than learn 100 throws that you dont really practice. This advice is awesome though! Have your 2-3 throws you love/practice most then practice entries and grips to add combinations as supplements to those throws. I love this thanks brother! 🙏🏽

So its not so much that its only 3 throws, but whole systems that can help funnel opponents into those 3 throws... which really means you can't just run around with 3 throws at all.

How can I become better than the national players? They have the best coaches and the best players, which makes them develop quickly.

Do you feel that removing leg grabs has limited the sport of Judo? I have been encountering a lot of wrestling in my BJJ classes, and while I am loosely familiar with shooting singles and doubles, we never worked on them at all in my Judo classes. Cheers!
