Many people who have autism avoid eye contact. People who have been abused often avoid eye contact and there are other reasons. Don't let avoiding eye contact be your only clue. That should only raise a flag of possibility. When you suspect a person for avoiding eye contact, be observant, looking for other signs. Just like a cough might indicate a cold or it could be for myriad other reasons. Peace.

When I was very young a lady in our church would comment on the love in my smile and my face. She said my complexion glowed. She called me sweet face. I found it embarrassing as a child. As I grew older I began to tell if people were good or bad by looking in their eyes. Still I never thought I was special or different. My mother was intuitive a very loving Christian lady. When I prayed things happened. Still I didn’t feel different. It just seemed normal to me. God put me through many trials which I realize were to make me stronger to fulfill his purpose in my life. People have always gravitated to me my whole life. Now I realize as a chosen one I am his warrior and the path ahead will be perilous but I am not afraid he is with me . I use to donate plasma, I walked by an elderly old man there one day he slightly turned and said ay you look good, like he had known me along time and he hadn't seen me in awhile. I have that, strangers will just look at me like I am some Xmas tree. My boss told me once continue to be you!! You light up the darkest days there.. there has been many moments when strangers and family would just be at ease when I was around.. I even had one person tell me to tone down my shine, I am too bright.. that’s when I realize I was around a darker spirit.. When I would first get a gecko they would stay black as tar and be mean.. But when I am around they turn white gray and be all lovey dovey lol.. 🤍💡
