While I was just a baby when the USSR collapsed, it's amazing to hear how these people frame it. As a child, I remember my father (a US Naval officer) teaching me about the Cold War and how it developed. However, I find that with time the answers are getting harsher and more radicalized. Most of these interviews are scary and offer a dystopian view of an alternate reality. It is so good to hear some sane people in the second part of the video. A few months ago, I started learning Russian and watching these videos regularly. Its quite helpful grasp some of the pronunciation and vocabulary. Contentwise, it's just so sad to see how many people suck up everything the government tells them.
