Open band all the way with rivet end to right or left. Put book on top of it and bring ends together to front of book then hook band in rivet It won’t get so tight and can just slip it off instead of trying to un-do it from the Rivet.

Thank you for sharing! My order hasn’t arrived so I’m watching everyone else’s 😂. I ordered the same a5 cover- I can’t wait to see it in person! I think if you hold the button in the center of your weeks and then take the all of the elastic around the back of the book to the other side- you can loop it around the button (I think it’s grooved). Also- when you mentioned the pencil board as a cover- I thought it was a great idea. You could make a photocopy for the back so you don’t have to buy two. I bought the Unsodo pencil board and I may do the same!

I don't know what dark thing you are inferring from the 2025 hobonichi brochure. If you follow the QR codes, you will see there is nothing untoward that you couldn't refer to on KZbin.

I was wondering the same. It was weird compared to previous years pamphlet but I don't think it was anything dark or inappropriate 🤷

Would you like me to do a video? I mean no disrespect to the artist; however, most people have found this pamphlet not only different and ‘darker’ than Hobonichi’s usual pamphlet, but are wondering why this coming from ( in particular) is being used in replacement of the cutie usual booklets of the past. I’m aware of the QR code story- what I’m referring to especially is the visual symbolism of the comic itself. I’m a vivacious reader and researcher and perhaps this information has given me more perspective on symbolism used, as well as psychological studies and symbolism I’ve studied for my work. All that being said: we can agree to disagree. I’m perfectly ok with that. I’m only implying that I don’t feel this pamphlet was appropriate for Hobonichi to send, and I’m not alone. Not many people actually love this in replacement of Hobonichi’s usual pamphlets. So: Why did they make this year, in particular, the year to send out a pamphlet that upon first viewing most people I’ve watched are saying it makes them uncomfortable. Very few actually like it. And yes. I can break down all the symbolism in this brochure and by doing so YT would vet my video harshly for it. Does this help? Mel

U can Hold the brown button rivet in ur left hand lay the pink elastic on the table, put ur weeks on top, pull the elastic loop over the top of the weeks, than put the loop over the button.
