My opinion.....stay in your parents home if they're not kicking u out....work, stack your paper, PAY some bills at home so you're not a burden, clean the house, cut the grass, don't wait for your parents to ask you to do things you live there too, be a giver not a taker, save for a down payment on a property or to invest in stocks. Many other cultures do it...as someone who has worked in finance, live below your means n find someone who understands that. Don't move out because you want to have sex! You will be in a better financial situation and you will find the right person for YOU! In a better financial situation, you create more options for yourself in most areas of life and will have sex thrown at a U! 🤗 just my 2 cents.

@EdSuavePerez4 жыл бұрын
@Tyler Rae im so confused. And your point is? Not bashing you but i was talking about freedom of being on your own. Obviously theres financial responsibility but thats why you plan beforehand, not everybody is broke as shit. And to be fair, staying with your parents in your 20s and 30s is a sacrifice you have to pay, theres nothing wrong with it though. In my opinion, You only have one life to live, wasting 20+ years going into your 40s completing medical school/living with your parents makes you miss out valuable life lessons/opportunities that molds you into a man/woman for the better or for worse. This is why the Asian family structure is so reserved and conservative, and it aint nothing wrong with it, if you choose that path and you’re happy, then do it.

During the time I stayed at home I worked 3 jobs and saved every penny I could. This allowed me to buy a 4-unit property at 26, with my new wife and I moving into one of the units. I think two key points I've learned in my life are to practice loving yourself and set goals, especially financially. When you learn to love yourself, the people you actually want around you will come... it's simply not enough to just want more in your life. You need to figure out what you want in your life, make a plan on how to obtain it, and execute. If all you ever want is "more" without defining the criteria for what "more" is, you will never find true happiness in your life. You don't do the work just to do it. You do it because you're heading to a certain destination, and that has to be defined.

I'm 32 but I have an 11 year old brother that I want to be able to see every day. it's really nice to be around family when we all get along. I can easily work on stuff for the business and I can roll out of bed and start working on other side hustles I got going on. Don't let yourself feel bad because there's not even really good women out there worth buying a whole House for. I'm actually looking to buy a house but to flip or rent out, not to live in myself. Once you realize women ain't shit it changes the perspective of what you want to do with your life. I have a nice rv with a good monthly payment so I don't need anything else. Hell I got my own personal gym I'm building here for the whole family to use as well. feels god damn good.

@@JusTheKing. you are correct we can’t account for everyone. But you can best be assured that this is a major problem in our society today. Kids that have underachieved and who have been a burden on their old aged parents. I really don’t blame the kids as much as I do blame the parents for this sort of behavior. Part of being a parent is teaching your children independence. Look at the animal world and they can teach us something. Animals teach their kids how to survive and fend for themselves. It is natural. Now there is some exceptions take the lion pride. When Cubs are born they are taught to hunt and defend themselves as they grow older the males leave the pride and the females tend to stay with the pride as someday a outside male will take over that pride and the females will breed with him. It is natural and humans need to get back to the basics and stop making excuses for behavior deemed unnatural. Granted this does not apply to everyone because all situations are different but I see entirely too much of this sort of behavior today than I did back some 30 years old. Let your parents grow old and happy and you grow wings and take flight. It is called the evolution of life

I am 24 years old and hold a class A CDL and I am currently attending flight school to fulfill my life long goal of becoming an airline pilot (hopefully, all considering) and I still live with my mother. Besides being in flight school at the moment I also live with my mother because neither one of us have any other relatives and I couldn't imagine abandoning my mother after all she has done for me. This is for all of my fellow men out here, as long as you are working to make something of yourself in life and you contribute something to the household doesn't make you any less of a man for living at home (especially in this day in time). There is nothing like having your own place. I moved out at 18 years old have never lived with anyone. When I was married my wife moved in with me.
@MrWaterbugdesign3 жыл бұрын
I'm 64. I joined the Army out of high school to get money for college. Didn't get killed and ended up a software engineer. I moved from state to state for better jobs. I retired 20 years ago. IMO there is absolutely nothing wrong with living with your parents for as long as you want AND you're moving full bore on your career. Wait to even look for a wife until after 30, 35, 40 even 45. Living with parents can save you a lot of money. No reason for a flashy place, car, clothes. Investing 10, 20 years of those savings can pile up a lot of cash. Virtually all men waste a lot of time and money chasing women in their 20's. How's that working for you? If you don't like your parents then rent a cheap room in someone else's house. In your 20's you should be working and sleeping, maybe exercising. If you're hearing others making fun of your lifestyle it means you're not working hard enough. At work I wasn't sitting around talking shit with others....I was working. I wasn't going to bars or chasing women. What if women got better looking each year? Wouldn't it be smart for them to wait to marry in their 30's, 40's? Well that's how it is for men. We generally become more attractive to women as we age and our wealth increases with age which is also attractive. If you chase and catch a woman in your 20's get married she's going to be spending the money you're earning so you're always working and not gaining ground. When you're in your 40's you'll be married to an old fat woman when you could be a much better looking woman. The cost of that mistake is half whatever you've been able to save. That lowers your wealth and lowers the type of woman you can get. Shaming men for living at home in their 20's is dumb. All these fantasies women are told that get them into trouble...exact same thing is happening to men. People telling you crap advice.

I’m 25 at home with my family. It’s hard cus I have a big family and only my stepdad and I work to help maintain. Three young kids in the house and I’m the oldest out of us four. Soon I’m leavin for OKlahoma by myself to train full time in mma. My coach is hooking me up with a job out there and a nice small house just for me. My family will be straight without me now so I’m more comfortable leaving the nest so to speak.

My mother has multiple sclerosis and my grandmother is on dialysis. Kinda half to stay here, but when the time is right, I have to move out. I also need to start working out more and getting my shit together. Even while helping my family, I need to help myself as well. Stay alert everyone!

See how men come at each other? Tough love and logic. Exactly the opposite on the women's side.. RIP to my godfather.

I'm a Haitiano-Canadian American Engineer living in Charlotte, NC, USA now. Living with your parent his part of our culture, it's our home base and good economics. But i wholefully believe you have to become your own person, hence after graduating university(19-23), I went to live and work for china for 5 months as a Field Service Engineer, payed all my student loans. I came back to Canada to live with the parents and work again as a Mechanical Design Engineer, and I was flown to the US for multiple short term contracts. After that, I did my masters(25-27), still living with my parents and found work again as a Control Systems Engineer in Canada. Did a bit of entrepreneurship and created more sources of income outside of my 9-5. Also, Somewhere in all that, I found a way to do pro-bono robotics yearly.Then finally saved the money to finally leave the house, but let's say a lot of things including Covid 19 happened delayed/rerouted my plans. But thx god, mid-covid, I found a job in the USA and moved out at 28 to work as a Control Systems Engineer. Now in the USA, I'm prepping the field to move my fiancee(also my ride or die, been there since thick and thin) here in the US next year , possibly reach 6 figures(rlly close, but not there yet) and lastly grown my entrepreneurship venture. It really isn't about living with your parents, it's rlly WHAT YOU DO at your parents. Take control of your future in whatever environment you are or (if that's impossible, toxic parents or you just being lazy and all) GTFO (coming back and agreeing with Kevin's point). Note, do have an exit plan, you need to GTFO before 30, by any standards.

I completely agree the advice shouldnt be sinply to move out all across the board. It should be to take control of your house. That can be acheived living at home jn some cases like yours. Othertimes its better acheived moving out and having to grind depending on the personality. But the main message is work to become independent so that when thr worst happens you will be okay.

Be patient don’t rush it, I moved out at 22 and 5 months later I got my own apartment. It felt great but it was a goal for my 23rd Bday. Lived there for 2 years. You get to learn so much about yourself and life when you cut all that distractions from families and friends. On that note, plz plz plz set aside money for emergencies and investments. Get yourself educated in finance and read books on stocks and real estate investment. In your 20s compound interest is your only friend. Good Luck💯

"A harmless man is not a good man. A good man is a dangerous man who has that voluntarily under control" -jordan Peterson The point is nice guys are not good men because a good man is attractive, strong, capable, confident, and admired. So you are not a good man unless you gain value a man without value is not capable of good and evil

I went back to see older videos & I appreciate the message. I’m with what you would consider a “HENRY”. We clashed in the beginning stage of our relationship & during that time I came across your videos. As watching, I’ve realized that #1 I wasn’t taught the true values of a relationship #2 I need to stop talking & just listen, amongst other things . I started doing the work (still am because the work never stops) & I’ve noticed how my relationship has gotten better. Thank you for your message whether it’s hard to digest or not. Stay Blessed Uncle Kevin ✨

Rip Kevin thanks for inspiring all of us, even when I was a kid at my first job not making anymore than $15 an hour. Also..I hope this message gets through all the men/women in denial of themselves and their own potential
