This is true but to be honest his career was really launched on the back of a knockdown of AJ in the amateurs. I agree he did what he needed to do in the pros and gave a solid performance in the AJ pro fight but he should really be a little more thankful to AJ because without him he'd not be in the public eye as he is now.

Funny how many experts there are out there! The man has beat more top 10 fighters than everyone bar AJ, been beaten only twice by top opposition and everyone saying he is an average bum, bit silly really isn't it. All the top heavyweights in the past took a couple of losses and still went down as greats, remember that. Judge him when his career is over, I still think he upsets a fair few other big names.

The problem with Dillian is that he hasn’t matured. He needs a “beef” mentality to energize him to fight. On top of that, I think he carries around a resentment regarding the way things have played out for him and some of the decisions he has made, and I personally think it could negatively affect his fighting. He had an opportunity to fight AJ for his titles and turned it down. After getting KOd by Povetkin that’s got to make him a little bitter, especially as at the same time AJ and Fury are fighting for the biggest prize in sport.

Dillian has done extremely well to be in the position he is since starting boxing. He is an exciting fighter and entertaining to watch. Very funny in interviews too. Some boxers are very sensitive about criticisms thrown towards them, and the classic line they throw back ,"if you've never fought in the ring you have no right to an opinion". Everyone has a right to an opinion . It's what makes the banter in boxing more exciting. Even the greatest fighters are not spared any criticism.

So I don't read into Wach as it was rushed through... As for the second, Dillian was destroying Pov and then caught him with 1 shot. I feel Whyte is the modern day version of Bruno, never on the level of Lewis/Tyson (this instance AJ/Fury) in terms of skill or the eyes of the Alphabets, yet his heart with bring him a title one day... His refusal to stay active finally haunted him, but he has done more then everyone in the division, who hasn't been involved in 2 title shots or more.
