Anyway, I'm the dude who starts practicing an hour before everybody's supposed to show up - then I'm the one getting pissed off when everybody's late - then we play a few songs and someone starts talking about women - then I get tired of all the stories about BJ's we got when we were like 17 years old, and I'm like "Can we play the damn song now?" - Turning to the lead guitar player "Hey man, feel free to plug the guitar into the amp anytime this evening... You put the cable in the little hole and flip the switch to the 'on' position..." hahahaha...

I challenge any human being to never use a substance of any kind in their life. ANY kind. Caffeine, nicotine, alcohol, etc. It's one thing to use though, unilaterally speaking problems only arise when use turns to abuse.

@Yellow Jacket Yeah I think overall the War on Drugs and the social stigma and subculture it created has done as much if not more harm to users than would have been done if it was all legal, or decriminalized at the very least. The idea that some heroin addicts are like using needles that are too dull because they can't legally acquire new ones, and they're having to literally retreat into the dark where it's harder for them to see while shooting up (but also harder to be seen) when in an alternate reality they could simply go to an observed injection center if they were in a more understanding place. That's a bit of an extreme example, but it's just a lot of the damage comes from forcing these people to live in the shadows in my opinion. Also you're absolutely right when it comes to friends and family members and how their perception of you changes when they find out you have a drug problem. Back when Eminem himself was still a drug user, he actually says on one song called "These Drugs" that "If you have a problem, don't admit it, because even if you manage to get clean people will still always assume you're on something."

Its two of four members of Phish waiting for the other 2 members to show up for band practice. There was a film crew with them for a year and this is what they recorded. It was probably in Europe somewhere. The movie is called Bittersweet Motel. Captures a moment in the bands history when they were totally on their game and the drugs hadn't gotten really unmanageable yet. It was unfuckingbelievable to watch Phish play in 1997.
