When dermaplaning just remember to shave with the grain , not against… the hairs will not be blunt cut off when going with the grain

The pink eyelids are definitely from the lash serum. I’ve used nanolash for years, longest lashes I’ve ever had but my eyelids are permanently red/dark and I’m losing fat around my eyes. Also got extremely itchy eyes this last year and now I found out it’s because of the lash serum. I’m using sweed lash serum now for a week and i haven’t had anyyyy irritation. Hoping the discoloration goes away…

The ingredient causing this is prostaglandin. It’s a hormone. It’s also the reason these lash serums work so well and so fast. But be very very careful because it ruined my eyes I fear.

I just make my own mixture of castor oil and vitamin E.

@@CoachKarin Yes, castor oil is a great way to condition your lashes and brows! It helps prevent breakage so they're as long as they can be naturally. Serums with prostaglandin (and prostaglandin analogs) extend the hair growth cycle, but can also thin the surrounding skin and even darken your iris color. There are serums without this hormone, but most are basically conditioners (i.e. expensive versions of castor oil, ha ha).

I’m also a beautician and just got the new Elleebana Hybrid rods, but am yet to use them on myself, although I now feel inspired to lift my own lashes! Found your channel through Little Me Carmie and you seem like such a delight! I've only had my lashes lifted by professionals because of concerns about ophthalmologic safety and warnings from doctors. What are your thoughts on the potential risks of amateurs perming their own lashes and handling chemicals around their eyes without training? I would love to save the money, but also want to be safe.
